DISCLAIMER:

The deck below is designed for a japanese environment and honors the new modified restriction which will be applied here with the release of the next set. Please note that Tv Reporter is available in the Quick Construction decks and can thus be used in this format.

MAIN IDEA:

The deck above is based on a disruptive evil knievel swarm tactic. The main idea is to swarm the other side with Cursed Dark Gyarados flocks and a fueled Scizor Ex from turn two on. In essence this deck acts like a mirror. The more it is hurt the more it starts to hurt the other side. This common feature can be seen in both Poké-Bodies and the tool choice in this deck. Dark Gyarados is able to deal a stable amount to the other side with both attacks and can even inflict some status effects to slow them down. In case the status effect does not work one still has Dark Scale and Cursed Powder at ones' disposal to take revenge on the opponent. These two cards are a rather nice combo and fit the theme real well. Scizor Ex on the other side can work with damage reduction from his first attack and the metal energies attached to him or benefit from hunch and the damage he recieved in combat in order to knock out stage two evolution lines in one hit. Furthermore, all basics other then Cleffa are able to search for other basics and should thus enable a decent swarm within time. Since Magikarp is a fast price on usual use Cleffa and Swoop! Teleporter to save him from his discard destiny in the activ position.

TRANSLATION:

Scizor Ex
Stage one Metal Pokémon
Hit Points: 120
Poké-Body: Hunch
If Scizor Ex's remaining hitpoint is 60 or less, all of Scizor Ex's attacks do an additional 40 damage to the defending Pokémon.
[MC] Steel Wing:40
During your opponent's next turn, all damage done to Scizor Ex by attacks is reduced by 20.
[CCC] Throw Down: 50+
If the defending Pokémon is an evolved Pokémon, this attack does 50 damage plus an additional 30 damage.
Retreat Cost: C
Weakness: R
Resistence: G

Scyther
Basic Grass Pokémon
Hit Points: 60
[C] Clone
Search your deck for up to two Scyther or Scyther Ex and put them on your bench. Shuffle your deck afterwards.
[CC] Agility : 20
Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks including damage, done to Scyther during your opponent's next turn.
Retreat Cost: C
Weakness: R

Cleffa
Basic Colorless Pokémon
Hit Points: 50
Poké-Power: Baby Evolution
You may use this power once during your turn. Select a Clefairy card from your hand and play it on top of Cleffa, evolving it. Then, remove all of the damage counters from this Pokémon.
[C] Eeek
Shuffle your hand into your deck, then draw 6 cards.
Retreat Cost: C
Weakness: F

Cursed Powder
Trainer - Pokémon Tool
If the Pokémon that Cursed Powder is attached to is active and is knocked out by damage from an opponent's attack, put three damage counters on the Pokémon that attacked it. Cursed Powder can only be attached to an evolved Pokémon (excluding Pokémon Ex). If a Pokémon already has a tool attached to it, you can't attach Cursed Powder. If the Pokémon Cursed Powder is attached to becomes a basic Pokémon or a Pokémon Ex, discard Cursed Powder.

Mary's Request
Trainer - Supporter
Draw a card. If you don't have any stage two Pokémon in play, draw two more cards.

Prof. Elm's Training Method
Trainer - Supporter
Search your deck for an evolution card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.

Hi ChicoBlanco,

Thanks for the review. Not entire sure about Cleffa at the moment. Will need to wait whether the new set hands us another basic searcher similar to Dunsparce.
