Has anyone tried using Ditto

Hello People to the new Pokegym!!!!!

I just wanted to ask, has anyone with a gameshark, sharked a Ditto in there R/S game and used it to breed pokemon like Magnemite or Beldum?? If anyone knows what would happen could you please tell me, it would be great.

Nothing in G/S/C? I beg to differ. Magnemite, Magneton, Voltorb, Electrode, Staryu, Starmie, Porygon, and Porygon2 all bred in this way back in G/S/C.

Should a Ditto be procured in this way, try it with Lunatone, Solrock, the Claydol line, and the Beldum line.

Besides legendaries (i.e. Latias, Registeel, Rayquaza, Deoxys) and Baby Pokémon (i.e. Pichu, Wynaut), there are some incapable of breeding. The R/S confirmed case of this is Shedinja.

You can use Ditto to get more Beldum, Staryu, etc. But not more Kyogre, Groudon, etc.

You used a Gameshark right? If not, how did u get a Ditto? Cause I really want another Metagross.

I have a shark but done use it too get old pokes, for cheating reasons, just to obtain more Full Restores instead of buy and spending money which I need. I still would like to know if there is a dupilication method in the latest verison of R/S where I can copy my pokes to get 2 instead of 1. Hopefully someone can help.
