whats different about a shiny aother than color dose it have batter stats or anything.

the only one ive ever caught is.. hold on to your seat belts everyone, your never going to believe this.....RED GYRADOS!!! Whoo, that was suspenseful. but really, i have never seen one in the wild before.

In GSC it meant worse stats, since shineyness (is that a word?) was based off of IVs. Now it is not, so a shiney can be just as powerfull as a nonshiney. The only current difference is that a Shiney has different coloring, and I believe thats it, well besides the obvious shiney stars that appear around it once it is encountered/released from its ball

There are some things different about shiney's when you use them.

If your opponent attempts to switch, 10% of the time the switch would fail. *multiplayer battles only*

You get a slightly greater bonus for your EV's.
