Forget all other combos Stantler and houndoom one stops all trainers the other lets you look at your opponents hand and discard a trainer...
imagine stantler active
houndoom on bench opponent can only play supporters so you look at his hand and make him discard supporters, throw in a few energy 2's a few sitrus berries and an acient tomb and you'll lock your opponents hand up then late game just bring in houndoom to clean up!!!

Because you look at you opponents hand everyturn you'll know how to play your next turn ...CAUSE THEY CANT PLAY TRAINERS....throw in a dark slow king...and wow...but you must have less pokemon than opponent for houndooms power to work

but armaldo is going out after rotation...

But. the best combo i saw after UFO release is Gengar Ex + Houndoom UFO...block trainer cards on your oponent and poltergeist for a crazy amount of damage.

Hi saferian,

That combo would be nice if there were less darkness and psychic decks out now. However this combo has the most synergy. Cudos for thinking outside of the box.

I'm not discrediting the deck and it is actually a phenominal combination. However, one of the most popular decks in the next format will be Feraligtr ex, which kills this in oh so many ways. Again, there is still potential there and I like the combo a lot.

Perhaps Manectric ex using Disconnect because Gatr is weak to Lightning. Matter of fact, that deck would be legal today.

THINK NO RARE CADY...and then i discard you celios or wallys how will you get that Feraligtr ex out? and you cant play a stadium so i will play BF Or acient tomb and just lock you down completely...

A t2 gatr could very well outspeed you and beat you at your own game. Also, BF shouldn't affect a gatr deck in any way, as it renders its own powers useless too so it's likely to not even run any...

anti FeraX: Desert Ruins...Manny Ex...Electabuzz.

10 damage between turns, lock trainers and finally use electabuzz for backup, with this, you cant loose.

...throw in a status condition...like confusion...takes three energy to retreat and you cant heal...damage will pile up quickly !!!!

Never play cards that hurt you. Speed decks shouldn't play Admin., ex decks shouldn't play BF. LudiCargo would kill those 3 because most use Rhydon or Marowak so 50 damage + Desert Ruins = 2 Prizes and a commanding lead. Ancient Tomb would probably be your best bet as a Stadium. As convenient as it is to play BF, non-ex Powers are dissapearing while people are countering T2 so there's less to stop with it.

I just don't see this combo doing enough damage to be effective. Your opponent will eventually top deck a Supporter and they will play it immediately so you won't be able to stop them as much as it would seem. Manectric ex at least does 40 damage and can do 80 to anyone if neccessary. T2 (as much as sceptilerancher doesn't want to hear it :frown: would be uninhibited as it ran through this deck with ease due to the fact that you will never have less Pokemon in play.

Its a killer PR deck, that's for sure but like I said I just don't see it performing well in the current format.
