I read on a web guide that Stat Exp. has a cap in Ruby & Sapphire. So in other words pokemon will reach their max stats faster since they can't gain as much stat Exp. The guide also said that You'll know when your pokemon has reached this cap when a woman in Slateport gives the pokemon an Effort Ribbon. That being said, once a pokemon gets the Effort Ribbon, would Rare Candies be fine to raise it? I figure once the Stat exp. max is reached, rare candies would be fine to use, but I'm not sure.
