Post a contest people are interested in participating in, and they will post. Sometimes what happens to interest you will not others; that's just the chance you take when posting a contest or topic, and there's nothing you can do about it.

It's not a popularity contest, sometimes there just isn't anyone else interested in whatever it is, and you'll just have to deal with that fact. Getting mad isn't going to solve anything and will not get anyone to post to your thread; do you want people posting just to keep you from "getting mad", or because they're interested in the topic?
