My SMP for cities...

Well this is my attemp for a SMP deck, and I think I'll use it at cities but im not sure... Please post what should I add or/and take out, as well as your overall opinion. I know this is a very hated deck because so much people are using it, but I like it, so please post :biggrin: ... here it goes:

Pokemon(21):

4x Beldum (call for family)
2x Metang (which one??)
3x Metagross DX
3x pidgey (it's very annoying when you only have 2, and they both get stucked in the prizes)
1x pidgeotto
2x pidgeot
3x scyther
3x scizor ex

Energy(15):
7x psychic
4x Dark metal
4x Metal

Trainer(24):
4x rare candy
4x PETM
4x TV reporter
3x Steven's advice
3x dual ball
3x Island Cave
1x Scott
1x copycat
1x Professor cozmo's discovery

Well, I also noticed that my deck only has 10 basic pokemon, I dont know if it is the ideal number anyway. good posting....

Minus 1 Pidgey, add in metagross DS, take out a metagross DX, add in anotehr metagross DS. u can use 2 delta shifts and get cards out faster.

i do:
-1 scott
-1 draw
+1 pidgeot
+1 strenght charm (usefull in many situations!)

also Grat ball > dual ball since you don't have basic-exs

If you know that to be the case, it might be wise to play something better suited to your metagame...

if u keep ur dx meta u can just drop the dark metal completely for 2 holon's magneton/electrode and 2 warp energy.

1 Cyclone(Very useful for Turn 2 Decks)

You could probably drop the energy down to 14, but gl with SMP.

it can helps to get rid of status effect or pidgeot's attack. But what I do not get is, is dual ball that useful and must in this deck?? because i saw many people playing with it in Scizorgross deck ecept mine :confused: Other than that, use 3-2-3 Pidgeot line, more consistent. Finally, you can try boost energy in this deck :thumb:

warp energies helps a lot.

clutch (pidgeot's attack) is quite usefull to do 2HKO. warp energy helps to retreat when you can't. For example when umbreon's power+attack leave you with a usless active pidgeot.
It helps to heal from special condition (araidos's atacks for example). you have island cave for Scizor but sometimes you need to heal pidgoet or metagross.

it can be used to retrat for free metagross (just powed in without energies)

well, as my luck is a little high... I always, or at least very often, search for 2 basics... so dual ball is for me :p;)
One thing that bothers me, is that there's a guy that only want to beat me, and everytime I make up a deck, he always finds a way to counter it. For example, now that I'm playing with scizor ex.. he will be playing typhlosion ex... what a annoying guy...:S

But this is another prime example why Deoxys ex attack is a great choice to tech in...

but don't you think it is better to replace dual ball to card drawing such as admin? :confused: because if you use card drawing instead of balls, you might have chances to get basics and other cards like energies :biggrin:
