In a thread in Ask the Masters, I read that * are not Shinings. Why do the *cards say they are Shining

Basically saying for TCG purposes, you are allowed one * pokemon and one shining...

Just that nintendon't wanted to be retarded and call shinings *'s....

Shining's used mostly fire, lightning, and water energies in their attacks and could use those energies to their advantage. You clould also use more than one shining in a deck. Stars are just collectable versions without the added advantage.
