Okay, I know that sounds really weird, but when I went to sanction two more events on the sanctioning page I notice this at the top of the form

"Congratulations! You have successfully completed three events. You are now an official Pokemon-e TCG Tournament Organizer."

Wow, I'm official now! I feel like a Master Professor (but I am not). So I emailed tournaments to see if they can shed light on this and if my abilities as TO will increase. But now it seems like I have several functions taken away that dramatically reduces the chances of using the DCI reporter anymore as a temporary replacement to the poorly designed TMS.

I can tell I am not a Premeire TO for any reason because I tried my POP ID into the Premeire Login. I am just official. Well Official is good

It's Official.

Your really not supposed to use the DCI reporter for sanctioned tournaments anyway. But, congrats!!!

I only used an old version of the reporter just to run the events. I can manually enter the results through the site.

Yes I do know you. Just so you know, if you are going to reply to a topic here on the gym, please make sure there is something meanful to say about the topic itself. If you wish to talk to me (or anyone else) personally, it is best that you use the Personal Messages system (or email). Welcome to the boards anyways.

See, it's a licensing issue. Wizards licenses DCI Reporter for THEIR use. The program is actually written by and owned by some fellow in one of the Scandinavian countries. You using it for Nintendo events puts you and them in jeopardy of being sued. It states plainly for use with DCI tournaments. You also could be held for a license vioation as you agreed to use it according to their guidelines. I wouldn't tempt fate myself.

I got word back from POP on being "offical." The first three events are tests to see if the TO is doing everything right and whether I can stay as a Pokemon TO. Now being "offical" POP feels confident that I can safely operate tournaments and report results on time.
