Lost Balls

Ok, apparently, I forgot to pick up a repeat ball early on in the game from a Devon employee. Apparently again, you have to get this from him in order to be able to purchase Timer Balls and Repeat Balls from Rustboro.
Now, is there another way I can trigger this event so that I can buy balls in Rustboro? Or am I up the creek without a paddle?
I tried getting a friend to trade me a Repeat Ball, but it didn't help. Any other ideas?

(I can't help but think of the Juggler in G/S's line, "Oops, dropped my balls!")

Um, I take it he wont give you the ball now??? If he wont then I have no clue, the only other answer would be reset, and start over....

timer balls don't get that much better then Ultra balls (on any significant catch, legendaries, its only something like a 2.4% difference, thats after 24 turns.) Repeat balls are nice tho. I think ur in trouble there. you're best bet is to restart.

Yeah, the guy's not standing there anymore.
Well, I don't think its important enough to restart the game, just to get a few Pokéballs I'll rarely use, lol. Maybe when box comes out, I can reset without fear of losing my Pokémon, until then, I'll just do without.

Can allways have a friend trade you needed balls, if they are important, but Ultra should be good enough, so yeah, I wouldnt bother to reset

repeat ball,never use it unless u run into a shiny version of a pokemon u already have.
