Meganium deck for States (or Regionals)

This is a deck that I've been trying to put together. It's worked fairly well in Apprentice but I wanted some help improving it.

Strategy: Use Bouncy Move to do a lot of damage. Then use Meganium's power and Sitrus Berries to heal Meganium. Energy Root is to either keep Meganium alive longer or to shut down it's power if it's not working to my advantage. Milotic is for healing and Magcargo for searching.


Is it horrible? Any ideas?

This has to be the stupidest and most horrible deck I have ever seen.....lol

The obly thing I would recommend is getting rid of 4 Grass, 2 PETM, and 1 Scramble. Never have more than 16 energy in a deck. The cards I would put back in would be x4 Celio's Network, x2 Double Rainbow, another steven's advice.

you r deck is ok but it needs work on consistancy. First off you need to use the holon engine. which is 3-4 holon transceivers plus 1-2 holon mentors plus scientist. that way you get set up. Thunderbolt is right use celios over PETM since PETM is used only to fetch exs and you run none. PLus where is your mr. Briney. compassion you need to run 1-2 so you can abuse the milotic trick or save a spent meg. GL with the deck,

Why would you use Magcargo over Pidgeot?

Mostly because I have most of the Magcargo line and none of the Pidgeot line. :rolleyes:

Buy some FRLG theame decks, they come in those. If you have one, mabey put in a latios*. Those can be very hard to get, but if you can some how channel all your luck into a sibling, he or she will get everything you need lol(happens to me all the time)

Meganium UF is a great card to base a deck around. I don't like your supporting cast.

Energy Roots turn off it's awesome self healing poke- body. Drop them. (100 HP is a bad number though.) Sitrus Berry is Good, run 3 or 4. 2-1-2 Pidgeot is probably the best complement, but if you don't have them, consider Stage 1 line of Muk OR Weezing. Weakness to Fire requires running Protective Orbs, but that limits the Sitrus berrys.

Milotics aren't a good back up. There.

I think Weezings with supportors of Desert Ruin or Cursed Stone works good.

Use Pinsir to damage Meganium that eventually heals itself by eating berries. Also Pinsir has cute body.

My nephew won 2 City Championships, came in 2nd 4 times and finished 2nd at Texas Championship with Meganium. I really like the card.
