I have a Mew ex attacking with 'Link needle' (beedrill FrLg) and I have only 1 beedrill benched.

does mew ex attack for 80 or 50 damage?

(does "excluding this one" apply for mew ex or the pokemon you are using it from)

The attack is self-referencing, which means that you cannot count the Pokemon doing the attack (in this case Mew ex). You get to add 30 for your Beedrill on the Bench.
