I'm just returned from our regional championship and it's 2a.m. in night (we had a lot of problems with train).
I'm arrived 2nd. Gatsu win the 15+.

I'm very happy! We were in 81, and a 2nd place behind Gatsu with Flariados is a great place for my Medidoom! Hope to take the revenge at nats.

I will write a report tomorrow.

P.S. the tournament stars 2 hours later. We get up at 5p.m. to arrive in Milan at 10p.m. and we take the train to return home at 9.10 p.m. arriving at home after technical problems at 2p.m.....this is fantastic!

Sami, i had CULO only in the swiss round where i beat Gatsu playing a perfect match with 1/2 of right flipping...in the final he had a lot of CULO because he drew all he need and escaped from all my Admin for 1 or 2...

REPORT:

Sunday morning, 05 a.m.
I wake up early and my brother starts to jump on the bed because of the Regional day.
It is a raining morning, and the darkness out of my house connect with the rain is the perfect setting of a horror film.
Alessio, Flavio's brother, arrives at 5.20, while i'm in the bathroom. It's the first time he has to waiting for me arriving not in late.
We take the train, and we have 4 hours to talk together. Gatsu is wondering about what deck to play, and he has to flip many times for the asleep condition because he sleeps 6 hours in 2 days. I decide to play against Panta's SMP because i haven't ever played against a SMP with my Medidoom...but i win two games easily. Gatsu decides to play Flariados.
After the arrival, we have to take "le metro" to go to the hotel, and after 45mins we reach the tournament place.
We are in 81 and there are 25 children with false cards, out modified cards, and at the first tournament and so it starts 2 hours later. Gatsu is furious.
I think this is the last tournament for Medidoom because i don't think now it is a good deck...but i know i'm a good Medicham player, so i want to demonstrate it arriving at the top.

1st round against Flavio's Powdacham
NOOO!! I have to let the victory to him because he did the same last year and need the qualification...but no at first turn!!! It is very bad...but Marcello says "ERROR IN PAIRINGS, WE HAVE TO DO THEM AGAIN". So, i'm very relaxed and the fear goes away...

1st (truly) round against Panta's SMP
What a pity! Panta is one of my friend from Pordenone not qualified...but i'm pretty sure that he would win, so i decide to play. He start with Deoxys Ex, and i let a jirachi die building my lock. I do one big misplay (all the energy to scyther with Pows, but why not pow for scyther and ko it? With warp and Scizor ex he win) but i win easily because he doesn't draw warp energy. 1-0

2nd round against Alessio's ZRE
no! against one of my friend again! Alessio is qualified so no problem. I have played many times against him and who starts has a lot of chance of win. He has a T2 Trode Ex and i have a t2 meditite to ko voltorb. We have only 1 basic for 2 turns. He start and so he win. 1-1

3rd round against Soldo's Metanite
i'm a bit scared after my first loss, but i know whis is an autowin. 2 Cursed stone in prizes, but after doing a misplay, he has only to flip with agility against my 3 Medichams. This is a hard job to do and after 3 heads he get a tails. Going down with prizes and powing after he flipped heads donks Dragonite agility, so i win easily. 2-1

4th round against Serafino's Typhlosion
not an autowin, but i know it isn't difficult to win. i'm faster than him and get rid of Cyndaquil abusing Island Cave to win paralyze. He send a Quilava, and retearing two times i switch my medichams and ko all his pokemon. 3-1

5st round against Gatsu's Flariados
he don't want to let me win (*******!), i know this is a difficult match but i play how i know. Cursed stone + houndoom are letal for his Flareon Ex, but he scoop up 2/3 of them. I have the cave when i need, and after i played another Stone. I switch my Medichams preventing ko and admin 3 times. The flips are 50-50 but i draw good cards having a perfect match. at the end, struggling, i win 6-5. 4-1

I'm first after the Swiss round! Panta, Alessio, Flavio, and Gatsu are all in top8.
My brother arrives 11th in his category...don't know how he does....but this is a hard day for him.
The train will depart from Milan in 3 hours, so we pray judges to be quickly, but with 81 people is difficult and the time goes...Gatsu is wondering about letting the tournament but Alessio and Flavio are decided to finish, also sleeping in the road if necessary. I'm more with Flavio and Alessio, but my father want i arrive at home this evening, also letting the tournament if necessary. At the end we starts.

Quarters against Soldo's Metanite
I donk him using stone+houndoom. An easy match to win. I let a Cham die and then lock Metagross. he plays switch, but this is not enough. 1-0 for me.
The second match is more difficult...i have 2 chams but he flipped many heads with his two dragonite. At the end it is 4-4. after admin and admin, he needs only 1 energy to win with metang but he doesn't find it, so i win. 5-1

Semifinal against Drago's LBS.
He has a very good deck, but my Medidoom is better....i let him powering jirachi hl but be sure to have cave+energy in hand to donk him. then abuse with houndoom+stone to ko everything. He thinks a lot after conceding the match.
in the second match i locked an onix and pure powering the bench....he draws many cards but at the end he remains with 2 cards and i continue to pure power. He was too nervous, and not ready to play against Medicham...so he concedes before time. 6-1

FINAL ROUND AGAINST GATSU
The judges are doing other things and we start to play (the train was in an hour and half).
We are laughing during all the match...and every time he hopes to win i do a good move...but it's not enough against his CULO. In the league he has all his key cards prizes but every time i find it in a tournament he has all in hand. 1-0
The second match is as the first...i t2ko an eevee but he simply have ariados + flareon ex to ko meditite.
I try to let one pokemon with no energy (how many energies can a Flariados have?) but he has all the energy necessary to win again.

He wins a lot of thing and i win only 18 boosters (dustox ex), and we run to take the train in late. Finally we take it.
We have to change train in Venice (0.08 am) but the only train that can bring us home was deleted.
We call our parents and decide to meet in a place nearer home. In the train, i play Jynx against Flavio's Mewtrick. He is losing but his brother Alessio comes and help him to win.
We arrive home at 2 a.m.. I run to pc and my brother remains asleep testing his deck until 3 a.m., when he comes iin my bedroom talking me about his new ideas, but i laugh against him and insult him because i'm sleeping, so he goes to bed.

here’s my report:
On saturday night i had a party and went to bad at 4.30 A.M.
At 5 o’clock i had to wake up... LOL!
I leave home at 5.20 and met Alessio,Flavio, Panta Andceo and his brtoher in Pordenone’s Railstation. We left for Milano at 6.00 A.M.
In train i falled asleep while trying to decide what to play. My first choise was LBS but i was afraid of team-mate’s deck (medicham and other disruption-decks). So i playied Ariados (great deck, no really bad matchs).
We arrived in milan at 10.00 am and reached the place of tournament at 10.30.
There were a lot of children and we traded for some good card (a lot of Mew Exs and HP-foils and other good Exs giving away all the useless stars and Exs near to rotation).
After a while i was borred from trades (all my Exs are in 4x and are playsets for my decks) and had a fun-match with Soldo (one of the best player from Milano) and a fun match with Serafino using my LBS.... both wins!
Tournament started late due to a lot of 10- doing a mess and running everywhere...

Tournament:
1st match Serafino with Typhlosion.
I had a bad start with a single basic and no great balls/draw...
After a while i could set up and all the supporters not drawn before came out of the deck!!
He’s a really slow player and took 3 minutes per turn, i was 2-4 and manage to win 5-4 in 3 minutes (asking to speed up turns).

2nd match Flavio Powdacham
I had an Ok start and managed to reduce both his medicham and espeon to 100 damage (2 spider trap=> 4 prizes) i was behind in prizes (not a single for me but 4 prizes around the corner) when i let him ko my ariados. I found out that 3 other spinarak where prized...........
I lost another poke (flareon) and amined his 13 cards hand to 3.... i struggled to KO the medicham without damage and draw 2 prizes...1 spinarak!!! It was all i needed to win!
I KO both the 100-dmged pokemon ex with spider trap and won!

3rd match a noob with a mess
I had an incredible luck (CULO) when it was not needed.. 3/3 scoop up and he tailed all burn-checks.
I saw a Wobbufet, a Deoxys and pheraps a claydol and managed to Ko all of them in 7-8 turns...
Easy match..... I feel sorry for him and gave him some advices!

4th match Drago (Pika Pika) with LBS
We both had terrible starts.
He had a lone squirtle i had a lone spinarak.
He couldn’t get a draw or a mentor ai could’nt get a draw or evoltution.
After a whyle he benched jirachi but could’nt retreat wartortle for WS.
I managed to get an evee and an aridos and koed squirtle.
He WS and got mentor.... his setup was complete 2 turns later.
I could setup too drawing a copycat that gave me a great new hand.
I did some ko and we countered each other’s stadiums for a while.
He sent a steelix to KO araidos and i flamescreend it for 2hko.
He used llugia to ko it.
I spider trapped his blastoise EX but he had switch ready.
After that i layed a bf and layed a BF after a 3 cards admin.
And tried again to spider trap his stoise again.
He had a steven’s but couldn’t get a stadium from his 10 cards...
A copycatted him the turn later and killed stoise with 3 Special conditions...
Time was over and i had 1 prize left to his 3.... it was his turn but without stoise (2 squirtle dead and retriever prized i think) he wasn’t able to ko my flareon to tie (i had a benched eevee and ariados+petm) so i won!

5th match Andceo with medidoom
Being the lone player 4-0 i knew i could lose and be sure to get to top 8!
We had 50-50 flips but his draw was amazing...
I couldn’t get flareons out of the deck and we were 2-1.
If i could get a flareon out of my 12 cards deck i could win Koing his active medicham.
I had 2 of them in it+1 great ball+2 prof elms. I draw: nothing.
Used mary: nothing. Spider trapped him but he waked and ko My for the win.
I lost.

It was 6.pm and our train left at 7.pm.
I thouht to quit tournament but my friend convinced to go on.

T8: Milan Metanite
Game 1: i had great luck. I had perfect setup against his ok-one.
I could lay my BF AFTER hos first stadium (he needed holon ruins to discard)
And after a while BF+admin shut off his powers for 2-3 turns
I killed all the Dragonite first with spider trap to avoid agility flips (i hate them) and to avoid their power to get L back from the discard pile.
After koing 2 his metagrosses koed to of my ariados in 3 turns but then it was a slay-fest from my two benceh flareon (flamescreen+his lacking of energies and dragonite mean i could 2hko them and they couldn’t do more tha 10-30 damage). GG

Game 2:
Again a great start against his not so good.
He got a T1 dragonite with a double rainbow and was happy.
I don’t hink it’s a good start for metanite and took 20 and 20 from his dragonite while i built on the bench.
After active eevve died and he got tails on agility i did 40 to it and put special condition.
He had a benhed metagross and chosed to retreat for it and koed my ariados.
I 1hkoed it with flareon, he sent in Dragonite and tailed agility, i Koed it with flareon.
He sent a second dragonite and i use flamescreen (so 10 damage from agility) doing 20 to him (30-10 from metal) when a got in Ko-rang for ariados retreat and killed it.
He got a second metagross but my BF stopped all his power and it was a slay fest.
Flame screen+his lack of energies wat to match for metagrosses....
I won!

T4:
Flavio again (espycham+umbreon).
Game 1: i had a great luck.
I don’t remember very well but i know i Koed an early medicham and he had an energyless jirachi.
He had to set up again and i koed an espeon.
After that he needed to use umbreon EX’s power (can’t remember why) but BF was in play and he had no counter.-stadium...
He scooped to save time.

Game 2:
Another good start. I was about to 1hko the first medichambut he rolled 3/3 heads and i tailed a Super scoop up.
After that i managed to kill it and he sent up one more medicham. I didn’t want to kill it (i was afraid of a 2 cards admin) and pui it to 90.
He sent espeon and i killed it. Admin came but i had a bench full of good things and as soon as i could draw an energy to retreat active (powed) flareon EX i could ko it easily.

T2 Andceo with Medicham-houndoom
First game he used meditite ??? to ko eevee.
I responded koing it with flariados-combo leaving him with a single hondoum.
I got nice flipps and killed it and he brought up a medicham (but he had to retreat it to save it from special conditions).
After a while i could ko it and he had nothing good really so scooped.

Game 2
We were in hurry for the train but we playied it.
Again an OK start for both.
I could KO his first Hondoum (no medicham to begin) and he koed back my adiardos wih medicham.
He thought he could use POW! But we was 1-1 on prizes (he was used to have medicham Koed first). After a while i could ko the medicham.
He koed one of the flareon and we were 3-3.
He admined me hopping to leave me with a bad hand.
I had run only 2 supporter during this game and i had 5 pokemons in play (all but one evolved) and 2 dead (4 pokemon in the discard). That means that my deck was composed entirely of energies and supporter (and 2 more scoop ups + 1 more flareon). I had 3 BF in hand.
So his admin was not a damage to me. HE powed in an energy-less flareon and tried to pure power my bench but i could draw 1 mary, 1 energy and a scoop up so i killed medicham.
He admined me again down to 1 trying to do the same thing again.
I drawed one energy and killed it for the win!

So i won north’Italy regional and got the bag full of prizes!

Props:
Flariados: super consistent and with matchs that go from 60-40 to autowin.

Prof Donphan, Marcello Milord and the stuff for the great event (81 playier are a lot for Italy).

My Team-mates (we were 5 from Pordenone in 15+ and 5 of us (all) were in TOP8) We had a lot fun during the travel

The prizes: great prizes! Trophy is great! My mom loves it! In box i found Mew EX and 15 rare holo all very good (2 cradilly,2 machamp, 2 delcatty, 2 gengar, 1 golem, 1 aggron,2 Muk, 1 Muk+ others i don’t remmeber) and same grate alternate-holo (girafargi, solrock and roselia FOIL, full flame and cures stone + 2 fossils) great box!


CULO!!!: Bad luck in some matches of swiss but in final (where it matters) i had an incredible luck!!

Hotel: it was a large room with a lot of space and nice chairs!

Meals: i ate poket-lunch from my mon at 8.00 AM in train (i was drunk from the nigh before so i needed to eat). I eated Keebab at 1.PM and 2 burgers at 10.PM on the train)!

TV reporter: I traded 2 Mew EX (one i found in the box that i won + the fifth i had) for a Super mint TV reporter HOLO + money+ other foil cards i needed
