Okay, i've been thinking about this for along time (since FRLG can out), and it seems, with the rise of holons pokes, now is the perfect time to whip this out.
Pokemon:(10)
4 rattata
4 raticate
2 dark raticate
Trainers: (44)
4 desert ruins
4 cursed stone
4 er2
4 request
4 pow
4 reversal
1 BF
3 admin
2 warp point
1 pokemon retreiver
4 celio
4 energy root
1 multi tech machine 1
1 atm rock
1 atm steel
1 atm ice
Energy (7)
4 dark
2 cyclone
1 heal
The startegy is to make the opponet unable to attack. Face it, energy is esensal to winning, and when you run out, you lose. 4 er2 and 4 pow allow for enerny removal, and with raticate you can use at least 1 every turn. Another feature is 8 staduims:cool: and the ablity to never deck. Also, if the opponet has jirachi active, you can use atm steel(assume the don't play swoop, unless facing cham) to remove all the energy the opponet is attaching to the bench unto the jirachi, making it super charged, but usless. Root because you won't need its body unless facing flarados(then, don't drop it and the protection will make it an auto win). Warp point to force the opponet to send up something they don't want, then waste an energy to retreat it. multi tech machine 1 to stay against lbs with ruins in play for that extra turn needed. Against mewtric and other training stopping decks, take advantage of the cyclones and dark raticates (poision force them to use power move, unless wanting to risk giving up that first precious mew). Main problem is going to be muligans, and lack of basics, but if you can get around that, this deck should be very fun to play.

Thanks for the replies
Absoltrainer: yeah, 4 basics ins't the best, thank goodness I thought of minum, the forgoten plusle.
sceptilerancher: umm, last time I checked, CFF was a starting pokemon, but maybe I'm mistaken.
Charizardian: Whoops, must've added 1 extra energy. If you looked at the deck more, you would realize that they shouldn't get the opportunity, since infidente er2s will remove all of their energy, thus making kos impossilbe(unless playing lialbity or something with a damaging body/power)

Latios/Latias [HP] can shut down Typhlosion's Poke-body. Also Houndoom, which would stop you from playing many of the cards in your deck.
I really like the concept of your deck (or any deck that revolves around energy removal- I've tried it before. ) I tend to prefer to penalize energy than shut it out completely. Maybe consider something like this:
Pokemon:
4x Hoppip
2x Skiploom
4x Jumpluff
Trainers:
4x Rare Candy (for T1 Jumpluff)
Some draw and search cards
Desert Ruins and Cursed Stone (just to pile on damage faster)
Energy:
4x Cyclone
4x Heal
Some others.
Expect some fast KO's and to really annoy the heck out of your opponent.

sceptilerancher: Yeah, FRLG>TRR
ninetales1234: Played jumpluff before, for CC's with dark crobat and mantine(before it got errated). Thats an interesting list, but I think I'd rather use this one.

Genuinely curious: what will you do with ATM Steel. I'm not criticizing, I just would LOVE to see someone play it one day!
For pure Energy Removal, I was thinking of Water. Tentacruel HL is just a SICK little card. So is Slowking Delta, Articuno EX, Starmie DX, and Seadra R, to name a few. Talk about playing mind games with Energy!
And just for fun, Swellow DX!
3 Tentacool
3 Tentacruel
3 Slowpoke Confuse
3 Slowking Delta
1 Arty EX
4 ER2
4 BF
Energy
Deck! :-)

shhh, tentacruel isn't supposted to be known until worlds:wink: . Atm steel is a great card. Think about it, every other turn, atm steel, move two energy that they've been attaching to their bench up to their jirachi...or to thier active pidgeot (move up more dre to make it crap:biggrin: ).

No... Just no. This deck in todays format will go everywhere but, somewhere. Not to be rude but Raticate has slim to no HP to content with even some stage 1 pokemon. There is no promise of even drawing the 4 ER2 in a 60 card deck before your opponent annihilates you. The trainers also looked sloped together. Oh yeah if you are thinking you are going to get back a ER2 you have to pull 1 of your 6 energies first. I would LOVE to see you play this do you have apprentice?

First off, no, i don't have apprentice. Second, this is more of a fun deck that might actually work, not like I'm testing it myself. Third, where do you see raichu?? Do you mean minum? You only need 1 er2 to have the continues effect with raticate. 1/10 of the deck is energy, therefore, with seven cards, and 7 draw, you should be able to get 1 t1-2. Note you don't need to attack t1 at all.

It was an error I ment Raticate...BUT, This deck might NOT actually work. I didnt mean to sound rude but I am definatly not an optimist I am going to give you my truthful honest opinion.

Hey, whatever floats your boat. I never said this deck would work...just another one of my concept decks. Have many more. Its just a deck to make the opponet plan alot quicker then normally, until they can't do anything. You still have to factor in the luck, but some of the energy "removals" in the deck don't require any luck.
