I won't say what I think it is, but does anyone else agree that there is a problem with this card, and if so, what do you think it is?

I'm guessing some of the other Pokemon collectors on ebay have also noticed it since the price has stayed very low. This card usually gets much higher prices than it has so far.

Is it the 40 HP in the upper right should have thin font like the old base set cards do, and not bold font like the new base set cards?

There you go. And it should, as far as the other red cheeked cards that I've seen, E3 or not, be shadowless!

Who has ever seen a red cheeked pika that wasn't shadowless?

I'll ask again:

Are you saying this card is fake?

Well, that's why I'm asking if others see the same problem that I do.
I'm leaning that way. It could be that the store he bought this from faked it by reddening the cheeks on a real Nintendo mag E3 card, I'm not saying that this seller made the fake. But I'm leaning that it is fake...

I think the following quote makes it fake:
Although the history of this card is unknown, the gold stamp and red cheeks signify it's legitimacy.

People usually don't say that a certain thing makes a card legitiment. That would make me suspicious.
I don't ebay much but I don't think people say that the card is real in the descripton of the card.
Not sure though, I could be really wrong, if I am I apologize.

Thank You,
MadHatter

You're right. That statement is a red flag.

This isn't about the pikachu you are talking about PokePop but I have a pikachu that is red cheeks from base set? Do you know how much it is? I also have another pikachu out of the ordinary. The pikachu is also from base set, except it is 1st edition. The error on it is that the d in edition is missing and that
the ink must have been really dry when it was printing so the ink is light yellow. Does anybody know about this card. I will try and scan the card when I am able to.

hmmmmmmm i say that it looks fake, and i'm leaning forward to it, but who knows. Could it just be some strange lighting for the picture or something? i dunno, but i'm leaning towards 'FAKE'.

Red Cheeks shadowless would be a dollar or two.
I've seen the error that you are talking about.
There are a few in circulation, but not many.
I haven't seen a price for it, though.
I'd guess-timate about $15, but I'd be interested in hearing others opinions on that.
