View Full Version : City Championships in WI??

I want to post this message for all the players and especially professors in Wi. I would like to set up some sort of league around the kenosha-racine area and I guess that would be the only way to set up a city tourney as well. If there are any ways people from around this area can help or any from Chi-town interested in helping any way they can...please do so. It would be great to have alot of people interesting in wanting to have a city championship (at least 2 in Wi). If you want...just post the info here or send me a private message.

City Championships will hopefully be held in Brookfield. We have an established league there, with just as many players, if not more than Madison. Hopefully things will be decided soon.

I have applied to run a City Championship at the Brookfield league I run.

I have every reason to expect approval of the application, unless there is someone else unknown to me also in the running.

We were originally supposed to have been notified of the decision by 1/5 (yesterday), but now I imagine that they will wait to notify applicants until after the new deadline for applications (1/15) expires.

I will certainly post any information I get on this. Until then, consider coming up for our NEXT TOURNAMENT (http://www.pokegym.net/showthread.php?t=3493) on Sunday 1/18.

Yea, I'm sure we'll get that tourney in Brookfield. There might also be one in Madison or Manitowoc as well. You know they'll be having one at Chicago, therefore there will be somewhere for most Wisconsin players to attend.
