Don't think I can make it. In order to do so, I'd have to drive 3 hours on Friday, one and a half each way on Saturday, then 3 hours Sunday Morning to make it to my CC in La Crosse. Of course, you're all welcome to come to mine.

There will be additional prizes over and above the Nintendo support:

ALL players will get a booster pack just for attending, the top 8 will get a choice of jumbo cards, and the top4 will also get Pikachu World Collections! :D

Getting anything is cool. My son and I will be there if I can get a late enough work start time, which I think is actually possible. We will defanatly be in La Cross the next day.

Well I am still if-y about heading to Brookfield...I have never driven on a highway before so I am kinda nervous about heading there. Also I hope that if I do go there will be people willing to trade cards because I am in need of some cards for the deck I want to use.

Your drive should be pretty painless, since there is usually low traffic on the interstate at mid-day on Saturdays.

When I woke up and it was sunny, I knew there was going to be a good day ahead of us. It was Febuary 7th, 2004. It was the day of the Brookfield POP City Championship Tournament! I was so psyched!

When we arrived at 12:10 PM, just about everyone was already there. It was suprising though. Only 9 of the 21 participants were from Wisconsin. The other 12 were from Illinois. It was going to be a day of new friendships, new rivalries, and rematches that would serve as teaching devices for the future.

Match 1 v. ???
I forgot completely about this match. All I remember is that I won. 1-0

Match 2 v. James (Espeon/Jumpluff)
This match was definatly a worst for me. One of the few losses with my Gardevoir/ex deck, Espeon pounded me after my opponent stalled with Jumpluff. It was a good game. And I congradulate him for winning the 10- division. 1-1

Match 3 v. Niki (Sceptile/Hariyama)
When I played this game, I expected to win but start out horrible. I did win, but I started out very good! Wynaut active, Ralts on my bench, and Wobbuffet on my bench was a good, face-paced start that gave me the auto-win. 2-1

Match 4 v. ??? (Gardevoir/ex)
I played this match against one of the Chen brothers. I forgot which, but it was a Gardy v. Gardy match. ortunatly for me, his Xatu never saw the light of day. After minor struggling, I won. 3-1

Match 5 v. Cody (Blaziken/Delcatty/Magneton)
I expected a game against my brother and I got it. I built his deck, so I knew it by heart. Also, he played me enough to know my deck by heart. He didn't get set up fast enough, after pleading me to ID. I had to play out the game, otherwise I would have fallen from my #1 spot. I won... 4-1

Match 6 v. Will (Gardevoir/ex)
Last time we played in a Modified Tournament, also Gardevoir v. Gardevoir, I won. This time, we IDed. We both took 1st in our age divisions. Isn't that sweet!?! 4-1-1

Over-all...
The tournament was cool, being one of the best I've ever been too.

Top positions---
1st 15+ = Will
1st 11-14 = ME!
1st 10- = James

Props:
-James for winning his division
-Will for playing me anyways and beating me
-Lizard for a good tournament (your the bestest TO ever!)
-Cody for not complaining the whole way home after I won
