View Full Version : Chicago Pokemon Leagues?

Does anyone here know where any Pokemon Leagues are located in the Chicago area? I tried looking on the Finder on the Pokemon site, but I keep getting nothing.

I think Pastimes has a Sunday Pokemon League, but I'm not to sure.

Anyone know? Where do you play?

What part of the Chicago Area are you from?

There is a very good weekly tournament in Rockford on Saturdays.
Cory run's a league in Schaumburg on Sundays.
Pastimes Niles league is probably inactive, the store is great for tournaments, but there just isn't enough players there close by to keep it going. Crystal Lake/Cary there is a league on Saturday mornings. Mostly younger players though.

There are players, most of them are on the Gym. We are bad in the fact that we don't often do leagues, but we definitely enjoy the tournaments.

I live in the north side of Chicago and I wouldn't be able to go to those suburbs you mentioned. To far.

Off Interstate 55? Damn thats far! I live in the north side a couple miles away from Skokie and Niles. North Chicago I guess.

Niles does have a Sunday league. I will go when i know when someone else is going as well.

well its the day after the GC and there is a tourney in Manitowoc WI so I cant go.

I live on the South Side of Chicago, nothing for me. So you are lucky to at least get Niles.

Aren't you in Lemont?

I could run a league there next year if we could find a place you know.

Come to Niles this Saturday. I live near Naperville and still go.

By the way, are there any other players in your area that play?

In Lemont, yes....yes.

Well, there are 3 in New Lenox, and 1 other in Lemont. There are probably other players. But if a League was run here, that would just be NICE!

well you when your 15 get a My Pokemon Account on OP website and sign up for a league after you have found a location that would host you for the year.

Yeah, I have seen the Games Workshop. I have never heard of York Town Mall.

It's good to see so much League interest in my area, but can't you guyz keep this to PMs?

I'd like to open up one a little bit closer to me than Cary or Schaumburg, but I'm only home for about 4 months out of the year. If anybody in the NW Burbs wants to open something in the Buffalo Grove/Wheeling area, that'd be MIGHTY nice!!!
