Me, Julisa, and Erin did not do too good, i went 0-3 and decided to go for last place. Alas even though for the next 3 rounds, i went first with a lone fossil (Flip, discard, gg sir =)?), I get the bye in round 7, and end up getting 83rd of 85 left. GRR. The only good cards i got were Regice*, Dustox EX, and Mew EX!!!

Ok, only myself, Tyler and Julisa played in the main event, Erin did some demoing. After registration, the 15+ division alone had 315 players o_O, wow that means 9 yes NINE rounds of swiss with a T32 cut. Heres my report
Deck - LBG (Lugia/Blastiose/Gardevoir)
R1 vs. Brian D. (Polistall)
Easy deck for me to play against, lugia doing 200 to politoad ex kinda wins things

R2 vs. Steve P. (Flariados)
Well, i didnt like this matchup, i didnt get a good start and my opponent kept taking advantage of the Flariados combo and i lose

LUNCH BREAK
Good food at center, kinda expensive though, yummy =)
R3 vs. Chad H. (Marowak/Raichu)
Wow, ive never seen the likes of this deck before, and dont have any way to counteract it.

R4 vs. Danielle S. (Espycham)
Hehe, Espycham, being weak to Mew and gardevoir makes things really easy.

R5 vs. Alan S. (Mightyena/Crawdaunt)
Weird deck, but i like it. Easy for me to beat with mew

R6 vs. Ben K. (Metro)
Yes metro, thats a lethal combo. I go first and thats what helps me. I end up taking my 6th prize, 1 turn short of losing.

R7 vs. Colin M. (Rock Lock)
Well i hated this matchup, he gets a T2 amply and Ttar and keeps pouring it on. I still have yet to find out a way to beat this deck

Yes a dinner break, we’ve been playing for about 7 hours now... So tired...
R8 vs. Liz R. (Ludicargo)
This was a great match, I have a Lugia active and she promotes a Lombre. She does ambush, if she gets heads, she takes the lead, if she gets tails, i win the game. HEADS. Damn. I have to fast play for the clock was at 45 seconds left. But time was called and i lost.

R9 vs. Brian L. (Scrambled Eggs)
Ok my favorite deck to play!!!
Im lucky enough for my opponent could not get any energy in play and i kept assaulting his team until i won. His prizes included 2 exeggutor and 1 trode.

WOOT, winning record my first nats!!!
Places 114th, not too bad if i do say so myself.
Tyler on the other hand played Liability and he was on the verge of the top cut. He won his final match and was waiting to find out if he made T16. I get to see the stats and he got 19th. Tyler broke down and started to cry, not realizing he won an invite to worlds. I had to convey that information to him, and he realized it and started to cry tears of joy, and i couldn’t help myself, and i cried also!!! Were going to Disneyland!!!!!
Pokegym Midnight draft
Ok this is nuts, remember this is mutant draft. We get a choice of Base 2, Genesis, Phantoms, Gym heroes, gym challenge and Legend maker. They did have a box of fossil, but Chrisbo had to say no, complaining about a pokemon in that set named Ditto, I dont know why??? (maybe the 500 pages of rulings on Ditto?)
I get a R1 bye
R2 vs. Kim C. (Bulbasnore)
We had a fun game. I kept flipping heads for inflicting burn and paralysis, but unfortunately, Kim won the match.
Well i get 6 packs, and nothing good.
Sunday
I play in a few 8 man constructed tourneys. I won 1 of them, defeating my R8 opponent from yesterday.
Congrats to Martin, winning the Nationals!!! Good job buddy! See you at worlds!!!
