I have a decision to make. My good friend is going to sell me either a Gyarados*, or a Rayquaza*? Which will be worth more down the road?

Ray* when its rotated out, willlose its value, as it won't be used much.

Gyara* Was worth alot when the set came out, and still prices at 35, so I would say, just do whichever you say is better

He tells me about 40 for Gyarados*, and 48 for Rayquaza*.

It's so hard!!!

Gyrados, because n00bs don't know it's bad. And Ray* has no really good energy manipulation now.

Depends I would get gyarados but raquaza is a better choice

I say ray just caue I have seen less of then in the past ever since the first deoxys pre release then I have seen Gyrados since HP came out

Ray* seen since DX pre release 2
Gyrados * seen since HP pre release 6

Ray star will always be ray star. People value the name. Rayquaza is a legendary pokemon, therefore its value will stay consistent. Gyarados star is more recent , yet its value is not consistent. I have seen on ebay numerous time it go for 25 and other times 44. Rayquaza star on the other hand will always go between 40-60. Also deoxys star's are much harder to acquire the hp stars. stick to ray:thumb:

well, my league leader is currently building and playing what he calls the NEXT LBS. It involves Gyara* and Catty ex. I played him 18 times and I have a feeling that Gyarados is gonna be big down the road. =/

RAYQUAZA*!!!!! I have a deck that has Ray* and it has helped me out of some close calls!

*Little known fact about me: I have a shiny green Rayquaza hat that I wear to Pokemon events:biggrin:*

Thats kinda controdicary. You gave dos a differenece of 19 dollars and ray 20, thus making rays value differ greater. I would say ray, simply because its more playable (has several decks that can tech it in, while dos has 1 deck that is a joke really).

if you get some Delcatty's next format, Gyarados might be a weird, inconsistent, but nonetheless fun deck.

Ray is a lot more easy to figure out your tech, so I'd prefer him.

But Gyarados is still cooler ;)
