What are these?

k im not sure if this is the right forum but...

I got cards 6 cards this weekend, all from the same set ( a white pokeball?)
they are all 1st editions, and seem to have errors, but i think the error might be intentional
i was just wondering what set they are from

the cards for instance have the name of the pokemon in another language, but the text on the card is in english! For example, igglybuff (holo) name is Pupurin, but the text is all in english! another error is, it says this igglybuff is an evolved pokemon, and not only evolved, but evolved from Kadabra! the number on this card is 174/ 82
i have a feeling there was a set made that were error cards, because all the cards are like this

i just want to know what set they are from, and if they are worth anything

i dont know how they are fake though. my friend bought them in a store from a pack a while ago..

1 color
2 clarity
3 cardstock

Rule 3 is done by the lightbulb test. Hold the card up to a lightbulb. If you can see the back and the front at the same time then you do not have proper card stock. A friend of mine use to rip open the some easy to get foils to show me what proper cardstock looks like.

i sorta new they were fake.. i just got them from a good friend who swore she bought them in a pack
so i was just a tensy bit hopeful i got my hands on some extremely errored cards! o well...

Yeah, my step-dad came back from like Bolivia a few years back with a bunch of those packs all excited he had gotten packs for like $1 each. Needless to say he wasn't as excited when he found out they were fake.

yea i always go to garage sales, so see if there are any cards that they sell cheap..... like this one time like a few years back they were selling a maybe like 1 and a half inch binder full of japenese. holos fo like 10 dollars.

my aunt sent me some old fossil decks from hong kong.. all 60 cards in it were rare. the hitmonlee backround looked like a bad acid trip, it was AWESOME! lol.

and a buck a pack? yeah, flea market. i went to my local buy back, and they were selling ruby saphire for $1.25 and the sets before that for 1.00, then i went over to mile high comics, and i cleaned them out for 80 bucks, i had 80 packs of RS, TAvTM, sandstorm(only 2 rare candy's out of the whole thing!) and some HL . i you just have to know when and where to look :wink:

Back in the day when Neo Genesis came out the KB Toys stores in my area wanted to get rid of their Jungle, Fossil and Base Set 2 packs. They went for 99 cents each and all the Base, Jungle and Fossil theme decks for $3.99. There were BOXES of them everywhere. I had a huge argument with my mom because she wouldn't let me spend more than $10 that particular time. :frown:
