hi
i wanna ask something bout metanite.
and hope that other metanite player can help me too.

I have 4 problems with my metanite:
1st is: Metanite will be koed if it face a deck of many BFs.
2nd is: Shiftry ex will damaged this deck hardly
3rd is :All of the pokemon are lightning,so if u face a deck of flygon ex and flygon d(which both of them have resistance of lightning),then i dun think metanite can win.
4th is: Do u have any idea to counter all of those 3 problems above?^^

Also Golduck Lock. But Every deck has cards that beat it and Shiftry and BF are those cards so u have to just get over it.

Golduck lock isn't worth it in MetaNite...1-1 Fearow δ is much more useful. Lugia ex kills everything Metagross can't (or needs to discard more than 5 to do so)

but it does stop BF which is the biggest pain against Metanite

the biggest pain is actually shifytry ex
now we need something to get rid of it with...
sudowoodo and reversal? copy the attack and hit it for 140?
BF shuts Metanite down. Shiftry just does 20 dmage to ur pokemon when u use it's power. I would take 20 damge to use a power.

Delta Control isn't that important, and them sniping drags doesn't hurt as bad as you killing Shiftry ex
Also, with Fearow δ you outspeed them, and Golduck gets shut down by Cease Crystal anyway...

my point was ur draggy;s are dead in 5 turns with 1 out
with 2, they live for 3
3, they have 2 turns
not to mention they will snipe your dragonites ASAP, because metagross cannot do much without them

The good Sex decks (lol) play max 3 of em, ergo it would be a challange to get all 3 out with NO searcher while MetaNite has fearow and researcher, not to mention Delta Control can be used before the Sex are out.

true, but most of the Sex (i see y u laughed, that is funny) i have seen also play the eevolutions
most draggy's are candied
hiting it twice, jolteon ex, espeon ex, there goes one
then shiftry ex and snipe the other one
metanite is faster, but this just seems like a nightmare for it

I'm not saying it's not a difficult match, but it's not impossible.
And the whole point of playing Fearow is to not abuse candy

I know this sounds crazy but mabey if it turns out that Shrifty ex is the new LBS Deck then run one BF then it shuts down the benched shrity you can't get and allows you to at least use cargo to get cards out with out getting damaged just a thought

Then your opponent counters the stadium and continues the beatdown.

Or, they could attack your benched Magcargo for a 2HKO, leaving BF in play to hinder you both.

I plan to add a Dugtrio CG to counter Shrifty ex it is weak to fighting and protects from sniping

Yes cargo it helps a lot

Cargo + Holon ruins = Get card
Cargo + Metagross = Get card
Cargo = next turn card

OR


Cargo + Holon ruin = get card and discard lighing energy from hand then get lighting back with Draggy = free card

AND

His power gets around BF

Macargo is an extremly good card for this deck also if you by chance have you last stadium or 2 przed you can use his first attck to get rid of BF

Not consistant enough for me... CFF is absolutely terrible compared to Jirachi or Castform

well I plan to incororate windstorm into my deck so I am not overly worried

Not consistant enough for me... CFF is absolutely terrible compared to Jirachi or Castform

CFF is awsome cause you can get out more basics with the first form of your main attacker and Jirachi will be bad when swoop is gone. It was extrtemley consistent form me getting T2- T3 Draggy or Metagross 90% of the time

I have already beaten a shrifty ex deck but in all fairness I plan to hold on to my secret for a while longer

i really think that its a slow deck and too decks outright speed it. Too many decks cancel out their pokemon powers and the retreat cost are terrible.

Well as I said earlier it turns off shrifty ex and if you run cargo it allows you to seach using him for a while in the mean time your oppoet will be like WTF

Shiftry ex - Darkness – HP140
Stage 2

Poke-Body: Dark Eyes
Whenever 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon uses a Poke-Power, afterwards, place 2 damage counters
on that Pokemon.

[D][C] Target Attack: Does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. If that Pokemon already
has damage counters on it, this attack does 50 damage instead.
[D][C][C] Slicing Blade: 70 damage.

Weakness: Grass/Fighting
Resistance: Psychic
Retreat: none



The biggest Problem is dark eye the Poke Body it reads:
Poke-Body: Dark Eyes - Whenever 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon uses a Poke-Power, afterwards, place 2 damage counters on that Pokemon.
This Ability is Stackable so it can really dish out major Pwnage on your guys. The simple idea is not use powers but as weird as it seems I have an idea.Mabey run 1 Battle Frontier Stadium That way it will shut off his body and you can at least use cargo as a little search and he won't be daqmage meanwhile your opponet will be thinking WTF

Next is it's first attack
[D][C] Target Attack: Does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. If that Pokemon already has damage counters on it, this attack does 50 damage instead.
That could be a Problem cause they will snipe your Dragys and stuff on the bench and that could lead to trouble. I am not sure how to deal with this however energy removal 2 on the Dark might help but the problem is is that this attack gets around agiliy cause he can simply aim at the bench Energy removal 2 seems to be the best rick here. Having Metals on your Pokes will also help Greatly. If you use Dogtrio from CG (look Below for description) then your bench is safe due to it's body Sand Veil so now all the damage has to be done to the active witch may have 2 or more metals on it.



Its second attack
[D][C][C] Slicing Blade: 70 damage.
That can do 70 to 110 damage if Darks are on it 110 if it has four darks. Low Pressure System will allow you to usually survive the onslaught as well as have metals on you. Those as well as Energy removal 2 will help a lot. At least he cannot OHKO you unless he has 4 darks and you have no metals on you.


Next on to Weakness, Resistance, and Retreat
Weakness: Grass/Fighting
Resistance: Psychic
Retreat: none

No retreat is very cruel Punishmet I feel
Ressistanct Psychic really does not hurt us the Weakness however gives me a very evil Idea
run Sudawoodo with 1 DRE or Holon Poke on it you can do 60 or 100 to shrifty and if you add another energy you can OHKO it as a bonus ou can use this to fight Steelix too. Another Option I found is Dugtrio from CG it reads:

Dugtrio - Fighting – HP70
Stage 1

Poke-Body: Sand Veil
Prevent all damage done to your Benched Pokemon.

[F][C] Dig Under: Does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. Don’t apply Weakness or
Resistance.
[F][C][C] Double Edge: 60 damage. Dugtrio does 10 damage to itself.

Weakness: Grass
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

That could work to an advange by doing 120 to active Shrifty and it protects your bench from Shrifty's First attack.
