Well, for one, on the attack text for Blade Wind, the word "discard" and both instances of the word "energy" should be capitalized. Also, in the flavor text, the word "pokemon" should be capitalized, and there should be an accent on the e. Other than that, it looks pretty decent. I definitely wouldn't be able to do much better.

I can't make any evolution cards cuz the smallest font is 8 and that isn't small enough to fit the "evolves from ___ put ___ on the basic pokemon/stage 1 pokemon"... My energy signs aren't clear too... Can u guys help me? Dkates, I've seen your Stantler and it's flawless...

First off, what graphics program are you using to make the card? From the looks if it, you're using paint, correct? If that's the case, there's nothing you can really do about the quality. Paint is unfortunately NOT good for Pokemon Cards. If you have a limited budget, you might want to try Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop Elements. (At least I think that's the title) Both are fairly cheap.
Second, if you're refering this stantler card(http://www.mhzs-lair.com/winter_promo/winter_stantler.jpg), that's MY Stantler card. Although dkates did help me with how attacks and such were to be properly worded, I'm the one who did both the art and put the card together.

I use PhotoShop, but Paint can be used with a little patience. You must be sure that each item is placed exactly where you want it, 'cuz once you accept the layer, you can't change it!
Perhaps you could use more than one instance of Paint to prepare graphics before you put them on the main graphic using Cut and Paste.
Look at the card tutorials on Pokemon Zeo (http://www.pokemonzeo.com) to get an idea of exactly how to place stuff (that's where I learned it)
Use Zeo's card blanks for the energy symbols. They are of a decent quality.
You can also download the Humanist font from Zeo. This is the correct font for all text except the HP (use Century Gothic for that).
Look at existing cards to get an idea of how your attack should be worded.
I think the second attack should be worded like this
Blade Wind Discard all energy cards attached to Birzarre. This attack does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each energy discarded in this way. 10+
As far as the content of the card, I think it's pretty well balanced. The second attack is pretty powerful, but balanced. Dragons better watch out! :)

OK, we have a Basic, Dark-type Pokémon with 100 or 110 HP, an undercosted attack that only uses (G), no Retreat Cost, and a cheap way to auto-Poison the Defending Pokémon. Does anyone besides me think this card's a bit broken?!

I'm sorry but i think i need step by step instructions on how to open "zipped" files. It never works. Answer my question or dont bother posting on another subject. All i want is help

First off, you need a program to can OPEN .zip archives. If you don't know what that is, you probably don't have one. I'm not exactly sure where it would be adviseable that you get one, but you could try for a cheap free one from some place like www.download.com (http://www.download.com) , but just be weary, since a lot of the freesoftware you find there will have spyware. (And it'll usually say so.)
Second, you never told us what program you're using to make the cards, although everyone is most likely just assuming paint. Like I said before, look into buying a better program, Paint cannot make a quality card. It isn't capable of handling layers, and its quality conversion is horrible, amongst other things.

johnznothere

I extracted it to my pictures, but it doesn't work. I have to keep on re-unzipping it and it gets me nowhere. i go to my pics, i extract it to my pics again. I extract it again. and again...
Step by Step including which specific words you click on.
Remember WINZIP

WinZip is very simple your just thinking to hard. all you need to do is extract the pictures to a folder and there they are!

1. I extract to a New Folder named "stuff"
2. I open up My Documents and open up "stuff"
3. I see something like this:http://www.aspenth.com/upload/weird.jpg
4. I open up, or try to open it up. It says i can't open it up. I right click to look for something that would probobly make this work. I find:
Open with...
____________
Winzip ->
____________
PC Sillin (my virus checker)
____________
Send to ->
____________
Cut
Copy
____________
Create Shortcut
Delete
Rename
____________
Properties
I don't know which of these to pick. Like i said. Even if it's simple, step by step instructions
PLEASE

Well, you did it correctly, that's what was in the .zip file. But, unfortunately, you can't USE any of those files, since you don't have Photoshop, or any program that can HANDLE .psd files.

www.fakecard.com said i can download something from download.com for free
Maverick Hunter Zero
02/20/2004, 05:29 PM
...What does that have to do with anything I just said?
Anyway, that's not true. Some things can cost money, and there are some things that, while free, have spyware programs, so those you don't WANT to download.

Hey! I need some help. Two of my fonts have succesfully installed and ready to go. But, there are some that show up in control panel;fonts, which don't show up in word or paint. I don't know what's wrong, please help me. I think there are limits to the number of fonts, but i found out that that wasn't the case. I dunno what's wrong.
