How to ignore user posts?

Is there a way to block a user and ignore all their posts?

Yes there is. Click on their name then click on view public profile. There will be a spot that says add (their name) to your ignore list. They will be able to post in your thread but you won't be able to read it. But ask them first in a nice and kind way not to post in your thread and not to pm you.
