Question About POP Rankings

I live in Mississippi. However, there are no Mississippi leagues anywhere near me. I live an hour outside of Memphis Tennessee, so I go up to the Memphis league every week to play. Since I live in MS, but play in TN, that won't mess me up getting ranking from premiere tournaments, will it?

You still get the same rating based on your results. The only difference is you are listed against MS players for your state rankings, even though these aren't the players you play. Since state rankings don't do anything anyways, it doesn't matter.

2 things:

League and weekly tournaments do NOT effect your rating.


And, your state means nothing. There is a Wahington player who plays in Oregon every week, but that does not change his rating. You could even play in another country if you wanted, without doing anything to your rating.


I could even say I come from Hawaii if I want to.
