how do i play pokemon

I'm serious i would like to know how to play pokemon. I never played before.

First of all, this is in the wrong forum, and it will get moved soon, but I'll answer your question for you.

Well, you can get the basics from the Wizards of the Coast website. Wizards of the Coast is the now former-owner of the Pokemon TCG, so they do not include anything from Ruby or Sapphire. Their site can be accessed by clicking Here. (http://www.wizards.com/pokemon) If you go there, I would recommend clicking on Learn to Play on the left, running a few of the tutorials and stuff there, then go to products to get a good hold on the sets that have been released from them.

Nintendo is now the owner of the Pokemon TCG, but their site is incomplete. Click Here (http://www.pokemon-tcg.com) to go to their site. I would check back in a while, when they will have tutorials and such.
