discarding attacks

hey if i had an attack that discarded the top cards of my deck (such as tytar ex (UF) attack states discard the top 3 cards of your deck) and i only had 2 can i still use the attack?

Yes. You would do as much as you can.
It's only attached energy that has a "do it or fail" requirement.
