I don't know if you run something in Unlimited like NG Meganium, then this card might be viable. It'd be a good solid 70HP BBP that I'd probably use in a unlimited tournament deck(if it were real).

I can see what you're intending on that Espeon, but the wording seems way off. Not sure how to do it right, though.

Um, you're saying it would take too long to charge up Scyther? Have you seen the Wailord for the EX set? For 2 Water energy, and 3 Colourless, it does surf for 70.
Personally, I think since Nintendo took over from Wizards, they've made it so the old cards are incredibly weak compared to the new ones, so that players will not go back to the Wizard's cards when it comes to making decks.

ROFL, even with this card, which takes at least 3 energy cards to attack, Energy Removals and Super Energy Removals are just 0wnage. Oh wait, They were produced by wizards weren't they... ;) :p
