i wanted to know if Prinplup/Empoleon would work with Abomasnow DP2. here's the translation.

Try to avoid cards with only one high energy attack. This thing can be OHKO by Infernape, including one with a Double Rainbow Energy attached! Even against a different deck, this still doesn't combo well with Empoleon and is quite slow.

even if he get's KO'd his body puts Ape to sleep which leaves him open for a knock out

i like it, a DRE and basic NRG for 50 and possible 10 to all bench.

The body is ok.

Empoleon would be a good combo since it covers weakness and does bench damage.

i have another idea for Abom. i could put him in a deck with either Prinplup/Empoleon or Sandslash DP2. this might work, but it might not be as good as it is with Empoleon

I think that Sandslash are much better than Abomasnow. I'd run some DRE since it is not water like Empoleon. 60 +Poison = OHKO on most basics (even with DRE attached) and two hit KO on most anything

Even though abomasnow isn't good because you want someone that can spread damage. If you don't like dotrio and you want someone that can do damage to the bench then use someone like claydol but abomasnow isn't good because it has a high cost and it's only a 50% chance

I don't see Abomasnow working with Empoleon. It's attack costs 3 energy and it only lays damage if you flip heads. What the deck could probably use would be something that can do something like Jolteon's attack where it does like 20+ 10 more for each damage counter on them and can spread damage.

yea i dont like Abomasnow either. does an average of 5 damage to their bench and 60 damage is nothing to not sneeze at.

I just don't like how you have to flip for the 10 to the bench...this card reminds me of Glalie from HL.

You can't even use a DRE on it. Well, you could, but then you get no bench damage

And there's only a 25% chance of them being asleep on their turn.
