Well I believe the release date for Groundbreakers is past, so we should see boosters out soon hopefully. So once again, I am trying to gather data on the figures for the site. If anyone gets their hands on one of these figures, please let me know. (We already have the starter sets info)
So far we have:
Armaldo
Elekid
Mewtwo
Latias
Latios
Geodude
Mightyena
Hariyama
Raticate

I haven't seen any sets other than the Skydive starter in any of the stores around here. My TRU was marked for restock, but I haven't seen anything yet. For the record, it looks like most retailers are claiming that there will only be 2 and 3 figure packs. Rather curious to see how that will work for hidden/visible figures. I really hope Mewtwo and Metagross are as easy to get as Groudon/Kyogre/Lugia/Ho-oh were.

Not particularly, but he looks fun with his Psychic push thing. He can force wait on multiple Pokemon with has interesting potential. Plus he looks like a cool sculpt which is half the reason I buy these things. Much like every other version of the franchise, I'd rather play with characters I like than "the best".

Sad thing is for me the place where I get my figures (Only place around where they are not broken) says there suppliers say they are not out yet...

Amazon is listing 1/14/2008 now as well. There seems to be a few online retailers listing December (late Dec, 12/21, other iffy dates). My guess is that it's been pushed back.

Mewtwo isn't even that good
if you can get him near the goal, he could shove them off the goal and onto their entry point w/ wait

So they push it back after the release...
What is going on?

Just another case of Nintendo pushing a release date back, something it seems they love to do.

I have seen them all over South Carolina this week at Toys R Us, and the Wal-Marts here in GA have them also in the area.

The Walmart and Toys R Us near me are depleted of TFG stock. The Walmart has 2 left over Skydive sets; The TRU still has nothing from Groundbreakers.

I've found the Starters at one Wal*Mart near me. Everywhere else is only just shelving the Crystal figures.
Is it past the release date for the hidden figure packs of Groundbreakers?

Well, it's Feb 1st, and still no sign of Groundbreakers boosters.
Hopefully they'll still be released. ;-;
