On the Groundbreakers Starter Set check list with all the figures on it, where it details how to play, it says in the Trainer Cards area that, "In competitive play, each player has a number of points to spend on Trainer cards. A trainer card with a full circle is worth 100 points. A trainer card with a half-circle is worth 50 points."
What exactly does this mean? How many points does a player have?

In the top right of the TFG trainer cards, there is a red dot. There will be ether a half red dot or a full red dot. You can't have more than 3 full red dots total. (3 cards at max anyway)
Since there are only half or one red dot on the trainers so far, it doesn't matter now. In the future there will (probably) be ones that have more than one red dot.
An example would be if they made ones with 2 red dots. You could only use one with 2 red dots and one with one or half a dot.
More red dots means the trainer is (usualy) better.
