Okay, I have no idea why Kristy or Chris or Sam haven't posted, so I'll do it:
~~~WHAT???~~~
-The second Gym Challenge for the state of Texas, that's what! It costs $10 for non-VIP's, and $5 for VIP's
~~~WHEN???~~~
-5/16/2004.
-Event starts at 12AM. You'd best be there at 10 or 11 for deckchecks and whatnot?
~~~WHERE???~~~
-Why, Creative Gift Baskets, etc, of course (funny name, fun game, huh? ;P)! It's located at 1717 East Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas (right across from Garden Ridge!!!)
~~~WHY???~~~
-To give three lucky people free trips and invites to the Pokemon World Championships in Orlando, Florida!
~~~HOW???~~~
-Because I said so. 'Nuf said ;P
I have no idea what kind of side events they'll be doing, because I'm not a professor or store employee. Just a guy who wants people to at least know an event's going on.
Too bad I don't live in Texas anymore, or else I would show up. Thats fine though. Patriarch carries the torch as the best player in Texas now. Good luck bro.
Sorry personal opinions don't make someone the best player in TX. Patriarch is and has been 3rd now to Heather & Taylor for sometime.
Even though your PERSONAL opinion means alot. LOL
This should be a fun event. I forgot to give props to my bro Cacturne666 (Ryan) the second best in TX.
Omg, I want Martin and Nancy to give each other a big, big hug. Right now. ;P
Ratings and rankings mean nothing other than who gets invites. Just 'cause me, Heather and Taylor are so high up means nothing. You don't judge who's a better player by who's 2 points higher or lower. Take the guy who was first in the world for DCI: Some fellow from Lubbock who had not been playing for a good 2 or so years.
Okay, let's get somebody like Kristy or Sam to reinforce this topic with information, and keep it out of spammy waters. I'm off to Neverland Ranch to play with thilly Mithter Jackthon.
Ratings and Rankings mean nothing, then what makes you the best player in TX??
It's all a personal opinion if you don't want to take titles and final standings of the tourneys played out.
how much will it be for the tourney ? 10 bucks ? see ya'll there ..... also i wanna see everyone win without an archtype and then well see who is the best player. Just because you have the best cards doesn't make you the best player..... :D :pokeball:
Okay, I declare that Karen Ferguson is now the best player in Texas. She will win this tournament with Eeveelutions.
Cost should be 10 unless your VIP, then it's 5. I also believe registration usually starts around 10-11 but call them to be sure.
Hey do ya need anymore Warp points?? j/k LOL
Before my little Zuver-style thing, I'd like to ask Kristy if there will be a limited event? Oh, how I love, love, love limited =D
"And so, the plot thickens, my friends!
Different factions will see their ends
met, at the dome of Plano,
while many from Houston just say, "no!"
The heroes from the last bout,
will play something rogue, and take a shout!
Those who last fell early,
may win, surely!
The mob prepares,
to issue their dares.
The veteran TGC'ers,
hope to be true believers!
The Oklahomans are oddly silent,
but they may be carrying the piercing trident.
Or will people travel far to see,
the New Mexican, in his victorious glee?
Who will win?
Who will put the suspense to fin?
Blazi, Swampert,
or that lame card based on Kurt?"
Haha, I can write a mean poem, huh? XP
Can't wait, and I hope we all have a good time.
~Johnny
