Booster Drafts
Cost: $15
Players: All ages, 8 players per tournament
Format: Single elimination
Prizes:
1st = 5 booster packs
2nd = 3 booster packs
3rd-4th = 2 booster packs
Details: We will start booster drafts each time we have 8 players who want to booster draft. Players will draft 5 boosters, build a 40-card deck from the drafted cards (we will provide basic energy), then play for prizes.
Sealed
Cost: $20
Players: All ages, 8 players per tournament
Format: Single elimination
Prizes:
1st = 5 booster packs
2nd = 3 booster packs
3rd-4th = 2 booster packs
Details: We will start sealed each time we have 8 players who want to do a sealed. Players will get 6 boosters, build a 40-card deck from the cards (we will provide basic energy), then play for prizes.
Rochester Draft
Cost: $20
Players: All ages, 8 players per tournament
Format: Single elimination
Prizes:
1st = 5 booster packs
2nd = 3 booster packs
3rd-4th = 2 booster packs
Details: We will start a Rochester Draft after the main event each time we have 8 players who want to do a Rochester Draft. Players will get 6 boosters. Each player will take turns laying out 2 packs of cards. All players will then draft from the cards laid out. After the drafting is completed, build a 40 cards deck from the cards you drafted (we will provide the basic energy), then play for prizes.
GBA Tournament
Cost: Free!
Players: All ages, limited to 32 per tournament. This tournament type can not be sanctioned.
Format: Single elimination, battle tower (same format as for R&S GBA rounds), must have GBA and a link cable to play.
Prizes: Based on attendance.
Details: Rules include 3 Pokemon of level 50 or lower; all different; all with different items; Groudon, Kyogre, Jirachi and Rayquaza banned; and no altered cartridges. The time limit is 10 minutes with certain powers restricted after 7 minutes into the match.
Theme Deck Challenge
Cost: TBA
Players: TBA
Format: Swiss
Prizes: Based on attendance.
Details: Each player will be given a EX Hidden Legends theme deck at random. This is the deck that they will use during the tournament.
