Phione(MD) VS Pachirisu(GE)

Phione is like jirachi wish maker from back in the day. It lets you evo a pokemon on the bench at the cost of 1 :colorless energy. But the only problem is you need away to get these bench pokemon. Well there is alittle something called "Call energy". It counts as a :colorless energy and its effect is search your deck for 2 bench pokemon and place them on your bench. Which then means you can use evolutionary wish(Make a wish) next turn to get a possible early claydol or a fast gallade or gadry.

Pachirisu is a little like dunsparce from sand storm. Like dunsparce it lets you search your deck for 3 basic pokemon and put them on your bench. Now both of them have a second attack. dunsparce's sudden flash(LOL) lip a coin if heads the deffendfing pokemon is now paralyzed and you may switch dunspacre with one of your bench pokemon. Now Pachirisu's smash short discards any tool attached to the deffending pokemon. Then the attack does 30 more damage and you look at your oppents hand and discard any tool with the same name. Now there is a tool called Cessation crystal that was ( is?) very play-able. Cessation crystal shut down poke-powers and poke-bodies when attached to the active pokemon.


What do you think? Phione is only good with call and other cards that can get basic and energys like rossanne's research. pachi is only good if you got the celio or bebe to evo the basic's you get.

Phione + Call Energy I think is the better play overall than Pachirisu, but the odds of begining with both Pachirisu and Call Energy are pretty slim. But again, I guess it would depend on the deck as well, some might benefit from Pachirisu more than Phione.

Why you need call energy with pachirisu? his attack can get 3 basic pokemon while call only gets 2.
