Before we start, here's a few notes. One, most of the Pokemon in this fanfic will be the final forms of the Pokemon the characters had as of the last time we saw them. I might make some up now and then though. Two, some of the Pokemon the trainers have were caught in a series that only airs in Japan weekly, called something like Pokemon Hosou. For example, the first(and currently only) appearance of Richie's Tailow, Rose, was in an episode of Pokemon Hosou. If more notes come by, I will tell you. Alrighty, let's get to chapter 1! Oh, quick prolouge...

It is 5 years after the events of the Pokemon TV Show. Ash, his friends, and almost all the main characters from movies have formed an Alliance, and they are all part of the team now. Well, there's your prolouge. Short, eh?

Chapter 1: Alliance
“Do any of you know Ash Ketchum?” The Trainer, about 15, exclaimed. He was wearing all shades of blue, with long blue hair and white wristbands. “Know him?” May replied. “You’re looking at him!” She moved to the side, revealing Ash, who was sitting at a table, his face plastered to the glass. Ash was now 15, as was May. Brock was 21, and Max was 13. “I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!” The trainer exclaimed. Ash immediately got up from the table, Pikachu hopping to his side. “You’re on!” Ash exclaimed. “Go, Sceptile!” The large green lizard appeared from it’s Pokeball, ready to fight. “I choose Glalie!” The trainer exclaimed, the white ball-like Pokemon with black horns appearing from it’s own Great Ball. “Sceptile, Leaf Blade!” Ash commanded. The Sceptile slashed at the air with it’s arm, sending razor sharp leaves at the Glalie. “Glalie, Protect!” The trainer exclaimed. Glalie was surrounded by a blue aura, which the leaves bounced right off of. “Ice Beam!” The trainer commanded. A beam of blues and whites shot from the Glalie’s mouth, hitting Sceptile right in the stomach. “Sceptile!” Ash exclaimed. “Hit it with your Dynamic Punch!” Sceptile’s fist glowed, and it charged at Glalie. It hit it straight on, knocking the Glalie out in one shot. “Good job Sceptile!” Ash exclaimed. “Return!” He threw the PokeBall, returning Sceptile to it. “Return, Glalie!” The trainer exclaimed. “Go, Sealeo!” The medium sized seal Pokemon appeared from it’s Great Ball, letting out a bark. “Go, Crawdaunt!” Ash exclaimed. The Crawfish like Pokemon appeared from it’s PokeBall, snapping it’s Pincers wildly. “Sealeo, Earthquake!” The seal let out a huge bark, jumped up a few feet, and landed on the ground very hard, causing a fissure to head towards Crawdaunt, doing much damage. “Crawdaunt, Guillotine!” Ash exclaimed. Crawdaunt charged at Sealeo, Snapping it’s pincers all over the place, and hitting it multiple times, knocking it out. “Return, Sealeo!” The trainer exclaimed. “Go, Jynx!” The humanoid Ice/Psychic Pokemon appeared from a Pokeball, blowing kisses to the air. “Swellow!” Ash exclaimed, returning Crawdaunt and sending out the majestic bird Pokemon. “Hah! What a dumb move! Jynx, Blizzard!” Jynx waved it’s hands around, and hail fell from the sky, pelting Swellow for great damage as it fell to the ground. “Swellow, Hyper Beam!” Ash exclaimed. The fallen bird got up off the ground and opened it’s mouth with a loud bird call. It launched a gigantic yellow beam, engulfing the Jynx in light and knocking it out. “Jynx, Return! Go, Walrein!” This time, the trainer sent out a huge Walrus Pokemon. “Return, Swellow!” Ash exclaimed. “Pikachu!” The electric mouse Pokemon ran from Ash’s side to the field. “Thunder!” He exclaimed, as Pikachu raised it’s hands in the air. “Pika!!!” it exclaimed, sending down a huge bolt of Lightning from the sky to the Walrein, knocking it out in one shot. “Oh no! Walrein, return!” The trainer exclaimed. “You beat me!” Pikachu ran to Ash’s side, Ash rubbing it affectionately. A Fearow flew through the sky, cawing and flying off to a distant place. It had a video camera in it’s collar.
“So he still works to be a Pokemon Master.” Mewtwo said, smirking. “He has come a long way since I saw him last.” He was looking at a screen that showed a video of Ash’s battle. “But he does not realize that he made a mistake in his Pokemon training career early on...” Mewtwo’s voice trailed off. “Sir.” A voice came from the back of the room. “We have just picked something up on our scanners from outside the lab.” “Transmit the video.” Mewtwo replied. The screen suddenly changed from Ash’s battle to a Man scaling up the side of Mewtwo’s tower. He was dressed in a lab coat and had grey hair and glasses. “It’s him!” Mewtwo exclaimed. “I thought I destroyed all the humans in that lab when I blew it up! How could he have survived?!” Suddenly, the screen went black. “Send out the clones.” mewtwo said, smirking again.
The scientist had almost reached the top of the tower, when a Pidgeot and a Charizard flew out from the other side. “I don’t have time for you.” The scientist said, throwing two PokeBalls that opened up to be a Pidgeot and a Charizard. “He plans to use regular Pokemon to defeat my superclones?” Mewtwo smirked. But to his surprise, the scientist’s Pokemon did prevail, sending Mewtwo’s Pokemon to the sea. “How did he?” Suddenly, the scientist broke a hole in the roof, falling down to Mewtwo’s room. “The answer is simple. I cloned you from Mew, so I can easily clone your clones.” He said, smiling an evil smile. “What do you want from me? You know you Cannot defeat me, even with an army of Super Cloned Super Clones. “I do not wish to defeat you.” The scientist said. “Just to make a more powerful, more tame you.” Mewtwo eyed him questioningly. All of a sudden, in one quick motion, the Scientist pulled out a pair of tweezers, plucked a hair from Mewtwo, and flew out of the room on his Pidgeot. All Mewtwo did was look up at the sky with a look of concern. “I sense someone is in trouble.” Mewtwo said. He flew up out of the tower and headed the opposite direction of the scientist, towards somewhere in Hoenn.
“What was that?” Laurence III exclaimed as his ship fell from the sky. “Rrrawk!” His Moltres exclaimed, flying out the broken door, his Articuno and Zapdos following shortly behind. They got outside only to discover a gigantic red beast resembling a Groudon had knocked the ship down. Lawrence III walked outside the crashed wreckage, and ran immediately back inside when he saw the beast. “Moltres! Zapdos! Articuno! Come back!” He said through the loudspeaker. A jet pod emerged from the wreckage, him flying it. His three birds turned around and followed him, fleeing from the gigantic beast. “I have to contact the others!” He exclaimed as the beast followed them.
Molly Hale, 10 year old daughter of the esteemed Professor Spencer Hale, was in her room, playing with her Pokemon; Flaffy, Teddiursa, Phanpy, Kingdra, and Mantine. She was reading a Picture Book about Legendary Pokemon, when her pink, flower designed phone rang. “Hello?” She asked. “Molly? Molly Hale? This is Lawrence III. I’m being chased by a giant red beast resembling the legendary Pokemon Groudon, and I know you are an expert on Legendary Pokemon. It’s gaining on me, and I believe it has malicious intent.” Lawrence III said through the phone. “Where are you?” Molly asked in response. “In the ocean just south of the Hoenn region? I’m on my way.” She hung up her phone. “Entei!” She exclaimed, the legendary fire dog appearing next to her. “Can you take me to the Ocean south of Hoenn?” “...If that is what you wish.”
Professor Oak was going through his books, when he noticed a Sketch book from when he was a kid. He flipped through the pages, and saw the faded sketch of Celebi. He sighed, looking at the window to see various Pokemon playing in his backyard. He walked outside and waved hello to Ash’s mother, who was picking tomatoes from her garden while Mimey swept the front porch. He went to a lake behind his house, and called out to the forest. “Suicune?” He asked, the legendary dog of water appearing on the edge of the lake. “I fear that one of our friends is in trouble. Can you find out where Entei is and go where it is going?” Suicune nodded as the Professor got on it’s back. It rushed off in the direction of the Sea south of Hoenn, leaving no footprints on the ground.
Anne and Oakley were feeding their Pokemon in a park in Alto Mare when their phone rang. Lawrence III told them of the situation, and they called Bianca from the other side of the park. They told her of the situation, and the three of them hopped on Latias, flying towards the ocean. Latias let out a gentle cry while they flew. “Latias says that quite possibly the whole alliance is headed for the ocean.” Bianca said, smiling.
Butler, however, already knew the bad news when Lawrence called him. He returned his Kirlia, Mightyena, and Dusclops, and hopped on Salamence’s back. He gave a hand to his wife Dianne, who got on behind him. Together, they too flew towards the Sea. Dianne looked back to see that Flygon was following them by air and Absol was following on land, intending to go as far as it could. She smiled, knowing that the Pokemon of Farina were still part of the alliance.
“Jessie...” James said, frowning. “What is it now?” She replied. “Can’t you see I’m in the middle of a Pokemon Battle?” She returned her Seviper, looking at James with an odd look. “Lawrence III is being chased by a huge Groudon shaped beast...” He said. Meowth sighed, as he knew they had to go to the sea. “I hate water. Especially wet water.” He said, this sentence jolting his memory of their encounter with the Gyarados. “Fine, let’s go.” Jessie said. They left the stadium, leaving Cassidy and Butch speechless.
Jessie and James were able to get to the edge of the ocean, when they realized one thing; they didn’t have any water or flying Pokemon. Suddenly, a huge Gyarados emerged from the water, allowing Jessie, James, and Meowth to get on it’s back. “Gyarados!” James exclaimed, hugging the Pokemon’s tail. It growled, which frightened him, and they got on it’s back, heading for the alliance member in distress.

Come on, why isn't anyone making comments? I really want feedback on my fanfic! Anyways, chapter 2.

Chapter 2: Reunion
“I still haven’t informed that Ash kid.” Lawrence III said to himself. “But maybe it is best that he doesn’t know.” Suddenly, his pod jolted from the sky. The beast had hit him! “Ugh, I’ll need all the help I can get!” He exclaimed, dialing Ash’s cell phone number.
“You’re in trouble in the middle of the sea south of Hoenn? We’re on our way.” Ash said, hanging up the phone. “Let’s go guys, a member is in distress!” He exclaimed. Him, May, Brock, and Max headed for the ocean.
“Go, Crawdaunt!” Ash exclaimed, getting on the crawfish Pokemon’s back. “Go, Beautifly!” May followed, deciding to fly over on her butterfly Pokemon. “Swampert!” Brock exclaimed, getting on his own water type. “Let’s go, Poliwrath!” Max exclaimed, sending out his Frog-type Pokemon. The four of them headed out into the sea, awaiting the threat of the mighty beast.
They arrived to see everyone else was already there, fighting the beast with their various Pokemon. “Glad you could make it!” Bianca said when she spotted Ash. “Yeah, a little help here?” Jessie exclaimed annoyingly. Ash, May, Brock, and Max’s Pokemon joined the fight, but nothing was enough to stop the beast. “I don’t know how this thing was brought to life!” Butler said with a distraught tone. “The only power source strong enough to bring it to life is the Millennium Comet!” He said, dodging a blow from the beast’s hand on his Salamence. “You mean this is the same one?!” Ash exclaimed. “Wait.” Mewtwo said, realizing something. “Look closely at that beast’s eyes!” Hearing this, the group did as told. There was a person in it, controlling the beast from it’s head! “It’s a robot!” Meowth exclaimed. “Pikachu! Get on top of it’s head and use Thunder!” Ash exclaimed. Pikachu jumped off his shoulder onto the beast’s hand, and ran up it’s arm toward it’s head. “Nice try.” The man inside said, smirking. Spike suddenly flew up in front of Pikachu on the beast’s arm. “Chaa!” It whimpered, frightened. “Wait a second...we’re at sea!” Ash exclaimed, pulling an ocarina out of his pocket. “Is that...?” Lawrence asked in shock. Ash began playing Lugia’s song on the instrument. “Oh no, I’m so scared of your little song.” The man inside the beast said. As soon as he said this, though, he felt rumbling as if he was crashing. And lo and behold, he was. “Lugia!” Lawrence III exclaimed as the Guardian of the Sea trapped the beast in a whirlpool-tornado. Moltres and Entei fired flamethrowers into the whirlpool, Articuno and Suicune Ice beams, and Zapdos and Pikachu used Thunderbolt. The beast was vanquished to the bottom of the sea, but unbeknownst to the alliance, the man inside escaped through a small torpedo pod.
“Long time no see!” Molly exclaimed. They were now all gathered in the Pokemon Center in Lilycove City. “It’s good to have the Alliance back together after such a long time.” Oakley added. “Yeah but...” Ash started. May looked concerned as he sulked down rather low. “We’re not all here.” Upon these words, the door slammed open to reveal Misty, now 17, and Tracy, now 20. Misty walked over to Ash and picked him up by the collar. “Having a meeting with her and not me, eh?” She said, pointing towards May with her other hand and talking in an angry voice. “Same old Misty.” Brock said, rubbing the back of his head. “Toge!” Her Togetic exclaimed as it walked in, shutting the door. Pikachu ran over to it, happy to see it. It jumped joyously, equally happy. “Hey! How dare you yell at Ash!” Molly exclaimed. “I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!” She pulled a PokeBall from her belt, ready to battle. “Uh-oh.” Brock said, rubbing the back of his head again. “You’re on.” Misty said, dropping Ash and snickering. “But no super Pokemon this time. Go, Politoed!” The green, frog-like Pokemon appeared in front of her. “I thought you still used Water types.” Molly smirked. “Go, Flaffy!” Her pink sheep Pokemon appeared in front of her. “Politoed, Hydro Pump!” Misty exclaimed. Politoed fired a large beam of water from it’s mouth. Which Flaffy easily dodged. “Flaffy, Thunderbolt!” Molly exclaimed. The pink Pokemon opened it’s mouth, spewing out a huge bolt of electricity. It hit Politoed straight on, shocking it. “Politoed, return!” Misty exclaimed, recalling the frog. “Beat this, you little twerp...Go, Corsola!” The pink coral Pokemon appeared. “Oh, I see your strategy.” Molly said, smiling. “You want me to use an electric attack, which won’t affect the part-rock type Corsola.” Misty bit her lip. “She’s smarter then I thought...Corsola, Rock Throw!” Corsola danced around, rocks seemingly coming out from the floor. They all flew at Flaffy, and were all dodged as easily as the Hydro Pump. “Face it Misty, you’re 7 years too old to beat me.” Molly said in an arrogant tone. “OLD?!” Misty exclaimed. “That’s it! Togetic, Metronome!” She said furiously. Togetic ran over from it’s previous spot and began waving it’s fingers. “Misty...” Ash said. “Yes Ash?” Misty replied in a sweet tone. “You are...a complete moron!” Togetic finished waving it’s fingers, which glowed blue for a second. Suddenly, the entire Pokemon Center exploded, scattering all the people inside it all around Lilycove. “My head...” Misty complained, getting up to see a furious Nurse Joy with a burnt dress. “You are never allowed in this Pokemon Center again when it gets repaired!” The nurse exclaimed, stomping away furiously, followed by her Chansey. “Nice going, you old hag.” Molly said, walking up behind Misty. “Togetic, Met-” Brock put his hand on her shoulder, shaking his head. All Misty did was huff and puff, as the Alliance slowly gathered around her and Molly. Molly stuck her tongue out at Misty and stretched her eye down with her finger. “Well, since Misty idiotically destroyed the Pokemon Center, let’s go somewhere else.” Ash said, bummed out. “I know!” Tracy said in a brilliant tone. “We should go to the Hoenn Pokemon League and watch the tournament!” He shoved his backpack onto his shoulders. “Watch?” Ash said, smiling. “No way! Let’s compete in it!” He put his hand up in the ‘V for victory’ position, smiling. “Yes, that would be quite fun!” Lawrence III agreed, stroking his Moltres’ face. “Then we’re off to the Hoenn Pokemon League!” Ash exclaimed, heading for the beach and sending out Crawdaunt.
“We submitted our entries just in time!” Ash exclaimed. “Ash?” A familiar voice said from behind him. “Richie!” Ash exclaimed, hugging his friend. “It’s been so long!” “It has!” Richie exclaimed. Ash let go of Richie, stepping back. “Do you still have your same Pokemon?” Richie asked. “Because I do! Come on out, guys!” He threw his PokeBalls into the air, releasing Happy the Butterfree, Sparky the Pikachu, Zippo the Charizard, Cruz the Tyrannitar, and Rose the Swellow. Ash sighed. “No, I only have Pikachu, Swellow, Sceptile, and Crawdaunt with me.” He released his Pokemon as well. “Well, good luck in the tournament!” Richie exclaimed. “Attention trainers! Please report to the Pokemon League Dark Field immediately!” The loudspeaker boomed. “May the best trainer win.” Richie said, giving a thumbs up.
The Dark Field was a small, straight platform, about 20 feet wide. It ran through the whole field from entrance to entrance, but there was a dark, mysterious abyss on either side of it. “Ok, trainers!” The loudspeaker boomed. “Your opponent for this match is Sidney, the Dark type trainer! He will release 20 each of Mightyena, Shiftry, Cacturne, Sharpedo, and Absol! All you have to do is knock out one, and you will pass to round 2! However, if you knock out more then one, you will be disqualified! And, to make it fair, since you are only allowed one Pokemon each, if you Pokemon takes damage from 2 or more of Sidney’s Pokemon, you automatically advance! Now, I bet you are wondering about the dark abyss on either side of the field. If you or your Pokemon falls into that, you a disqualified! But don’t worry, the basement below is completely padded with 5 feet of soft cushioning! Now, on your mark, get set, Begin!” All the trainers started releasing their Pokemon, as Sidney and his army of Pokemon marched out from one entrance. “Moltres, eliminate a Cacturne.” Lawrence III commanded. “Charizard, take care of a Shiftry.” Mewtwo said, smirking. “Flaffy, beat one of those mean Sharpedo!” Molly squealed. “Suicune, I advise that you go after a Mightyena.” Professor Oak nodded. “Ariados, a Cacturne!” Oakley exclaimed. “Espeon, this’ll be tough. Go for a Sharpedo, you know Thunderbolt, right?” Anne asked her Pokemon. It nodded it’s head. “Alright, go get him.” The purple fox Pokemon raced onto the field to join the other Pokemon. “Mightyena, Go after his Mightyena!” Butler exclaimed. “Forretress, take on whatever you want. Just do your best.” Brock said happily. “Blaziken, go after a Shiftry!” May exclaimed. “Um...Poliwrath? Just go after a Mightyena, ok?” The frog Pokemon nodded at Max. “Corsola, take on a Cacturne!” Misty commanded. “Zippo, a Shiftry!” Richie said to his Charizard. “Scizor, slice up that Cacturne!” Tracy said gleefully. Ash noticed that almost noone challenged the Absol, and everyone who did, failed. “I like a challenge every once in a while.” Ash said, smiling. “Pikachu! Take on an Absol!” The little electric rodent charged at the majestic White Pokemon without hesitation.
“Someone challenged an Absol!” Sidney exclaimed in a Australian voice. “I like that, great competitive spirit! I’ll pay great attention to this match!” Absol charged at Pikachu, it’s horn glowing. It shot a crescent moon shaped disk of energy at Pikachu, which was easily dodged. “Pikachu, Thunderbolt!” Ash exclaimed. His Pokemon launched a bolt of electricity at Absol, which was easily brushed off. Absol was suddenly surrounded by a huge whirlwind, knocking Pikachu back to Ash, and knocking quite a few Pokemon and trainers alike off the platform. “So he attacked that Absol.” Sidney said in a humbling tone. Pikachu looked like it was going to collapse and faint, but a hole opened in the ground. “What?!” Sidney exclaimed. “It couldn’t have!” A hole opened behind Absol, and Pikachu, healed by the effects of a held item, launched a Thunderbolt, catching Absol off guard, causing it to faint. “Well, all Sidney’s Pokemon except 19 Absol are defeated. Stop the match!” Sidney exclaimed. His Absol army retreated back to the door which they had come from, and the Trainer’s Pokemon went back to their owners. “Ash!” Sidney exclaimed, catching Ash’s attention. “There’s no way your Pikachu could have learned dig! The platform does not go all the way down! It would have fallen into the basement!” Pikachu hopped off of Ash’s shoulders. “No. There is exactly three feet of material going down on this platform. Pikachu is small enough to dig that shallow a hole. However, it causes that section of the platform to be unstable, so if it digs under something with too much weight, that person or Pokemon will crack the structure of the platform and fall into your basement. You are lucky Pikachu dug around your Absol, or it would have fallen.” Ash said knowingly. “How did Ash get this smart?” Misty asked. “You really have been gone long.” May replied. “Ash studied the platform as soon as we walked in. Remember when he looked down to see where the abyss went? He was actually measuring the size of the platform.” Misty looked in awe. “That’s amazing.” She said.

Well, if I may say, could you maybe make the reading a little easier by utilizing paragraph breaks? Bricks of text make for a dizzying read.

There are Paragraph Breaks, and they would be visible if this forum utilized indentions.

Why was the Alliance formed? Hmm...good question, let me make up a reason.

The Alliance was originally thought up by Team Rocket(Jessie, James, Meowth), who was fed up with doing everything Giovanni said. They tracked down some of the people Ash had met on his journey, and got them all to agree to the Alliance, one by one. Meowth considered this a way of making up to Ash for all the things they had done to try and steal Pikachu in the past. When everyone on their list had agreed, they went to Ash himself and presented the idea as a 13th Birthday Present. He agreed, and thus the Allianec was formed.

Chapter 3: Return

“Trainers who passed the first round!! Please report to the Ghost Field immediately for round 2!” The loudspeaker boomed. “Let’s go.” Ash said. The entire alliance, except Anne and Oakley, who had fallen into the holes, and Jessie, James, and Bianca, who had not entered, had cleared the first round, and had been admitted to the second round. They headed for the Ghost Field, ready for the battle.
The Ghost Field covered the entire area of the stadium, unlike the previous field. However, there was an extremely intense fog throughout the field. “Your opponent for this round is Phoebe, the Ghost trainer!” The loudspeaker exclaimed. “Due to the fact that not all of Sidney’s Pokemon were defeated, She will send out 25 Dusclops, 25 Banette, and 10 Sableye! This means at least 21 trainers will be dropped!” Phoebe walked onto the field. “21 is a low number...” Ash muttered. “The same rules for Sidney’s field apply! Yes, every rule!” The loudspeaker boomed. “Every rule? But I don’t see any holes...” Misty said in confusion. Phoebe sent out her Pokemon, and the 81 passing trainers did the same. “Go, Venusaur.” Mewtwo instructed, and the Pokemon knew just what to do. Before most trainers had even sent out a Pokemon, Venusaur had used a small, controlled Earthquake, sending a Dusclops to the darkness below, and making a crack in the platform, big enough for any decent sized Pokemon to fall in. “Zapdos, go!” Lawrence III exclaimed, sending the bird of Lightning into the battle. “These Pokemon are immune to most physical attacks.” Molly said to herself. “Phanpy!” She exclaimed, the little Pokemon charging for a Banette. It too used a small Earthquake, sending the Banette down. “Suicune, get them.” Professor Oak said. “Dusclops! Strike down your fellow!” Butler commanded. “Forretress!” Brock exclaimed. The metal Pokemon also used an earthquake, causing another hole in the ground. “Blazekin, go!” May cheered. “Poliwrath.” Max said, having it go out with water attacks. The only Pokemon Max ever used was Poliwrath. “Go, Azumarill!” Tracy exclaimed. “Go, Cruz!” Richie instructed his Tyrannitar to use an Earthquake as well. “There’s a patern here...” Misty mumbled to herself. “Of course! The loudspeaker said all Sidney’s rules applied! The holes are being created by Pokemon using Earthquake! I’ll just follow that pattern.” She sent out Corsola. “Corsola, Earthquake!” She exclaimed. The little pink rock Pokemon launched an Earthquake, and by now the field was more than 50% holes. “This is tricky...” Ash muttered. “Swellow could avoid those Earthquakes, but It can’t hit those Ghost types...If I send out a Pokemon that knows Earthquake...I’ll just have to risk it! Go, Sceptile!” The large green Lizard Pokemon appeared on the field. It unleashed an Earthquake at the closest Pokemon, which, unfortunately for Ash, was on the other side of the Platform. The mighty quake sent the Dusclops down to the darkness, but Sceptile’s Earthquake was the final straw. It linked all the other Earthquakes together, causing the entire platform to fall apart. “Well, for those of you who have participated in or seen the Hoenn Pokemon League before, you know that this kind of thing isn’t unusual on the Ghost Field! That’s why we keep an extra platform ready!” The announcer exclaimed into the microphone, pushing a button. As the ground from the top platform collapsed, a new platform shot out quickly below it so that no trainers who didn’t deserve to be disqualified would be. “And with that, it looks like Phoebe’s Pokemon are defeated, and 60 trainers pass to the next round!” The announcer exclaimed. “Since it is only midday, The next round will be held in an hour on the Ice Field! Don’t be late!” With that, the trainers exited to the way from which they came. The entrances to the field were specially designed and went very low with many levels of floor, measuring evenly with the platform slots incase platforms on the field were to crack.
“This hamburger is delicious!” Ash exclaimed. The group had decided to eat the lunch that Bianca had specially prepared for them during the round. “You think so? Thanks! It’s my homemade recipe, better then anything you’ll ever taste at a restaurant or fast food place!” She replied. Without any warning, a trainer came running in the door of the league lobby, waving his hands in the air. “There’s some Pokemon out there, and they’re going crazy! I tried catching them, but they aren’t wild!” The trainer exclaimed. “Huh?” Ash said, getting up from his seat. “I better go check it out.” He turned his hat to the side, and Pikachu hopped on his shoulder as he walked out the front door.
He walked outside only to see a flamethrower attack two inches away from his nose. He looked in the direction of the attack to see three Pokemon; A Pidgeot, a Lapras, and a Charizard. He immediately recognized them as his own, three Pokemon he had left, one in Viridian Forest, one in the sea of the Orange Islands, and one in the Charific Valley. But they had come back to him. “You...guys...” Ash started to get teary. He ran over to them and hugged them, one at a time. It was obvious they were happy to see him as well. The gang ran outside to see if Ash was ok, and saw him with the three Pokemon the trainer had talked about. “He knows them?” Dianne asked. “Yes.” Misty said. “They are three Pokemon that he once had, and they came back to him.” She smiled. “Hey Ash!” Brock exclaimed. “C’mon, the food’s getting cold!” Ash turned to Brock, as did his Pokemon. It was obvious he was holding back tears. “I’ll be right there.” He said, turning back and crying.
By the time Ash came inside, his three new(and old) Pokemon in PokeBalls, the loudspeaker was already telling trainers to report to the Ice Field. “Let’s go then.” Tracy said as they headed for the Ice Field.
The Ice Field was completely frozen over. There we no holes like the previous fields, but icicles jutted out from the ground in random places. In the center was a snowy mountain, about 30 feet tall. “Welcome to the Ice Field, trainers!” The announcer exclaimed. “Your opponent for this round is Glacia, master of all things frozen! She is at the top of the mountain there, with a random mixture of Sealeo, Glalie, and Walreign! There are 30 Pokemon total, and trainers, along with their Pokemon, must get to the top and knock out one of her Pokemon! Normal rules apply, but disregard those regarding holes! However, once you get to the top, if you or your Pokemon are knocked off, you lose! Good luck!”
“Charizard.” Mewtwo said, hopping on the Fire dragon’s back and flying up towards the peak. “It’s too easy.” Lawrence III said, doing the same on his Moltres. “Fire Pokemon can do this with ease.” Molly added, agilely speeding up the mountain on her Entei. “Don’t underestimate the rest.” Professor Oak responded, closely following her on his Suicune. “Mine is close enough to yours to breeze through this.” Butler said, his Salamence neck and neck with Mewtwo’s Charizard. “Those who can’t fly, dig.” Brock said. His Forretress burrowed into the mountain, brock scooting through after it. “Blazekin!” May exclaimed, running up the mountain with her noble fire type. Too bad your brother wasn’t good enough to make it this far.” Misty said, tailing behind May with her Politoed. “He could have watched his sister’s embarrassing defeat!” She sped up, getting ahead of May. “Zippo!” Richie said, copying Mewtwo’s Charizard strategy. “Let’s go!” Tracy said, heading up on his Scizor. “It’s good to have you back, pal.” Ash said, sending out Charizard. It had learned great discipline in Charific valley, and was following Ash’s commands. All the flying Pokemon reached the top at about the same time, and Mewtwo, Butler, Richie, and Ash exceeded with their fire-spewing dragons. As the speaker had warned, quite a few contestants fell off the mountain and automatically lost, but most of the gang prevailed.
“30 trainers left.” Misty said as she sipped a cup of hot tea. Mewtwo, Lawrence III, Molly, Butler, Brock, May, Misty, Richie, and Ash had made it to the fourth round. “I hear only 16 will make it to the 5th round.” May added. “Looks like you won’t be making it then.” Misty said arrogantly. The two started arguing, which was zoned out by everyone else. “These final rounds are tough.” Brock said. “First they cut us by half, and then cut us by half again.” He fed a piece of Pokemon food to his Forretress for doing so well. “Apparently the fifth round is actually a tournament of the remaining contestants, and the winner has to battle the Champion.” Lawrence said, leaning back on the sofa. “Well, let’s get a good night’s sleep so we’ll be ready in the morning.” Richie said, yawning. With that, they headed for bed.

I don't see how it's lazy. The Alliance was a birthday present from Team Rocket to Ash, and it unfolded into the gang featured in this story.

Chapter 4: A New Friend

“Time to go.” Misty said as the familiar voice boomed on the loudspeaker. “Trainers, report to the Dragon field and we will begin round 4!” It exclaimed. “Let’s go.” Richie said, putting his backpack on.
The Dragon Field wasn’t a single platform, but many floating platforms linked together with rickety bridges. “The rules of Sidney’s field apply.” The announcer said solemnly. “As an additional rule, however, you may not touch the red sensors in the center of each platform. If you do, this will trigger a switch that will alert an Alakazam to teleport you and your Pokemon off the field.” Most trainers were shocked by this, and the youngest ones, Molly excluded, were scared. “Your opponent, Drake, has but 16 Pokemon for this challenge. This is a nice even number for our next round, so you’ll have to focus on winning fast but carefully. Good luck.” The announcer stopped talking and signaled the round to start.
“Charizard.” Mewtwo said, using the dragon again. “Articuno.” Lawrence III said, preparing to take full advantage of the Dragon’s major weakness. “Kigdra!” Molly exclaimed. Her own Dragon Pokemon appeared. “Salamence!” Butler commanded, preparing for the mirror match. “Go, Forretress!” Brock exclaimed, feeling he was on a winning streak with that Pokemon. “Blazekin!” May also felt this way about her Blazekin. “Politoed!” Misty decided to stay with her green frog Pokemon. “Zippo!” Richie exclaimed, proud of his Charizard. “Charizard!” Ash exclaimed, still overjoyed to have his Pokemon back, and using it again. Everyone with a flying Pokemon did not much need to worry about the sensors on the platforms, but those without one who preferred going for Shellgon were a lot tougher off. Quite a few platforms were dead ends for these trainers, as they were almost entirely sensor. “This isn’t good.” One trainer, who had a Gardevoir, said, as he had become completely boxed in by sensor platforms. “My only hope is to send them plummeting from a distance. Gardevoir, Hypnosis!” His Gardevoir looked a Flygon in the eye, hypnotizing it. The Flygon fell down to the room below, guaranteeing the trainer a spot in the 5th round. “It looks like Charizard sure is popular.” He said, spotting Ash, Richie, and Mewtwo. “I don’t want all of those in the 5th round, they look strong. And the rules say nothing about attacking other trainer’s Pokemon, so...” His Gardevoir this time focused on Mewtwo’s Charizard, hypnotizing it. “Sabotage is futile.” Mewtwo said, touching his Charizard on the head. It instantly snapped out of sleep, and proceeded to attack an Altaria. “Try the other one!” The trainer exclaimed, his Gardevoir now aiming for Richie’s Charizard. It’s eyes became drowsy, but it glowed a faint whitish color, and was restored anew. “I know a sleep curing held item would come in handy on a field like this.” Richie said, flying on. “None of this is working!” The trainer exclaimed, frantically looking around. His plan to eliminate the Charizard had failed, as all three had already defeated an opposing Pokemon and returned to the starting area.
“The same guy tried to sabotage you?” Richie asked Mewtwo as they sat down at a picnic table in front of the Café, conveniently placed in starting area for trainers who had already finished. “We should keep an eye out for him in the 5th round.” Ash agreed as Butler and his Salamence landed in the area. Misty and May soon followed, highly competitive with each other. Molly flew in on her Kingdra as well. “Brock’s Forretress fainted and Lawrence III’s Articuno was struck down by an unexpected flamethrower from a Salamence. It’s us and 9 strangers.” She said. “Well, one of them isn’t so strange to us any more.” Mewtwo said. “There’s a guy with a Gardevoir out there, who, even though he already defeated a Pokemon, is trying to disqualify even more trainers by using Hypnosis with his Gardevoir.” He swatted at a fly in the air. “That’s terrible!” Misty exclaimed. “There’s a girl with an Alakazam doing the same thing!” She said this just as the two walked in, hand in hand. The boy was a few years older then the girl, and they looked very similar. “They must be siblings.” May said. The girl shot her an evil glance, then walked to the smoothie bar inside the Café. Richie looked outside, and noone was left, the round was over. “Attention trainers who passed the 4th round, please report to the Steel Field immediately. Thank You.” The loudspeaker boomed. “Let’s go.” Misty said as they got up and headed for the Steel Field.
“Congratulations, trainers, on making it thus far!” Steven exclaimed as he paced the room. “I am Steven, former champion of the Hoenn League. The 5th round will actually be a set of ladder matches, pitting contestant against contestant. Look to your right and you will see the first round pairings.” The trainers immediately looked to their right. The pairings were as follows;

1. Ash vs. Samuel
2. Butler vs. Meridith
3. Molly vs. Tommy
4. Richie vs. Karen
5. Misty vs. Samantha
6. May vs. April
7. Susanna vs. John
8. Mewtwo vs. Shiro

The trainers reported to their individual fields in the Steel Field, which was a huge dome room made completely out of chrome. It had room for 8 individual fields, which were used for the ladder tournament of the League. “Ready...Begin!” Steven exclaimed, waving a flag as if it were racing.
“You’re the guy who was trying to cheat with your Gardevoir!” Ash exclaimed. “I was not cheating.” Samuel responded. “There was no rule against attacking another trainer’s Pokemon. Now if you aren’t going to send out a Pokemon, I will. Go, Gardevoir!” He exclaimed. “Well, since I know how much you hate Charizard.” Ash said, sending out his own Charizard. “Charizards...I HATE CHARIZARDS!” Samuel exclaimed, ordering his Gardevoir to use Psychic. It tried to lift the lizard off the ground, but could not, as it weighed too much. “You obviously have had a bad experience with a Charizard.” Ash replied, ordering his Charizard to launch a Fire Blast. The Gardevoir was completely undefended, took great damage and was badly burned. But it turned a faint white for a few seconds, and the burn was gone. “You must hate them a lot to give your Pokemon a burn cure berry.” Ash said as the Gardevoir used Hypnosis, lulling Charizard to sleep. “But I hate you enough to give mine a sleep cure berry.” The Charizard glowed white for a second, and was instantly awake. “Charizard, Fire Blast!” Ash exclaimed. The lizard unleashed another Fire Blast, this time knocking the Gardevoir out. “Good job.” Samuel said, returning his Gardevoir. “But let’s see how your friend does against my sister, for she is far more skilled then me.” They looked to field 5, where Samantha’s Alakazam was giving Misty’s Politoed a bad beating.
“Alakazam, Psychic!” Samantha exclaimed, sending Politoed to the ceiling, just for it to come crashing down again. “Politoed, fight back with your Hydro Pump!” Misty exclaimed. “It’s no use.” Samantha said. “Your Politoed cannot beat my Alakazam.” Alakazam teleported out of the way just before the Hydro Pump would hit it. Steven noticed this unfair advantage, and clicked a button on a remote control. Chrome walls rose from the ground, boxing Samantha and Misty’s battle in. “Now there’s nowhere to run.” Misty said, smiling. “Oh no!” Samuel exclaimed, noticing the new situation. “My sister’s Alakazam is trained with unrivaled attack and speed stats, but it’s HP and defense are pathetic!” He exclaimed, knowing it was over. “Politoed, drown the entire field in a Hydro Pump!” Misty exclaimed. Politoed began furiously spewing out water in all directions, flooding the enclosed space and knocking out Samantha’s Alakazam. Steven realized the match was over and pushed a button, and the walls sunk back into the ground, allowing the water to flow out. Ash cheered for Misty, then looked to the ground to see that Samuel, no older then Ash, was on the ground, sobbing. “What’s the matter?” Ash said, crouching down to comfort Samuel. “Me and my sister entered this tournament...to get money for our mom’s operation.” He sniveled. “What happened?” Ash asked, concerned. “About a week ago, she was out in the field picking flowers. She was getting ready to head inside, when a wild Charizard swooped down from out of the blue and attacked her. That’s why I hate Charizards so much.” Samuel replied. Ash looked completely shocked and devastated. “I’m...sorry to hear that.” Ash said. “If I win, I’ll give you the prize money.” Samuel looked up. “You’d do that...for a rival?” He asked. “Not for a rival.” Ash replied. “For a friend.”

Who cares about post counts? All I do is try to find something new to do. Posting in the same topics gets kinda boring after a while so I try to start something new. And where does it show where the post count is anyway?
