I was curious: what's the most outstanding HL card in your mind? I don't really find that much interest in the set...

Steven's Advice and ATM Rock are the best. But yeah, that set is pwnage. It has like 10 new decks with just that set.

Exploud. Being able to attack even with 1 energy, being able to attack just about anything when fully loaded, 120 HP, Confusion, wheee.

I also think that metagross ex isn't so bad and I like desert ruins (when you're not playing ex pokémon)

You really think Militoc is top 5? There is probably something better than it, maybe Shiftry or Walrein?

Milotic makes the top 5 completely b/c it makes up one half of probably the largest combo in the TCG since Blex was released: Blastoise ex.

Antient Tomb and Desert Ruins tie for 4th
The card-switching ability of castforms is interesting. Vulpix's ascension can bring you either an anti-ex ninetales or a ninetales ex on your very first turn. Machamp is also an anti-ex pokemon. There are many anti-ex cards in the set.

Plaid, Milotic is universally useful. It can fit in HL Walrein decks, it could (but you shouldn't) be played in Gardevoir, it works in Sceptile as backup hitter even, since DRE can be moved around. And how about in Metagross? Yep, fits there too. There are simply too many cards from Hidden Legends that fit into most every deck to not be counted. The more specialized cards are good, but not as useful overall.
