Having lived in Central Florida for nearly five years between 1989-1994, I would hope that all Worlds attendees would have FUN AT WORLDS...

The Orlando/Central Florida area has alot to offer..

Disneyworld
Epcot
Disney MGM Studios
Disney Pleasure Island
Seaworld
Universal Studios
Church St Station
International Drive
Water Theme Parks (Wet n Wild)
Space Coast Kennedy Space Center
Daytona Beach (flat beaches)
Daytona 500 Speedway
Busch Gardens
Silver Springs
Cocoa Beach Ron Jons Surf Shop
Cape Canaveral Criuses to the Bahamas
Natural Springs

Make your choices and enjoy yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you on the home front............. :D

Worlds is a great tourament and a great experience. Don't waste one second during the trip by just sitting there doing nothing important, you'll regret it. There's always something to do.

Sleep is overrated btw, remember that. Even the older adults should remember that =D.

Thank you Phil.

No problemo!

I personally recommend Blue Springs and Wekiva, both are thirty minutes within Walt Disney World, and are simply beautiful.

Let me add to what Phil said about Wekiva.

You can canoe down the Wekiva. It's about a 9 mile run and takes about 4-4.5 hours.

You go to the head of the river and park your car at the canoe rental place. You canoe down
the river to Wekiva State Park where the canoe people pick you up and take you back to your
car.

It's great fun and you can see all kinds of critters from alligators to various birds and
even a bear (although that's pretty unlikely).

It is mostly shaded, although there are a few short stretches where you are exposed to
the sun (wear sunscreen!).

The name of the canoe place is King's Landing.

Here's some good information...

Also, XS Orlando is on International Drive at Pointe Orlando shopping area.

Cool place, like a Dave and Busters or Jillians.

DisneyQuest is convenently located at Downtown Disney West Side, just a twenty minute walk from the Wyndham. Of course, you could wait for a bus...

Does anyone want to co-ordinate some activites to do as a group on an off day at Worlds? Like late nate fun at Downtown Disney which is next door to the Whynham (sp?) hotel which is where Worlds is held at. It might be fun.

I can see the headlines now. Pokemon fans took over downtown disney last night.

Or Pokemon fans kicked gaming butt ( with sportmanship) at disney quest.

LOL

Worlds is going to be a blast

As Gym Leader Phil recommended... I would also recommend Blue Springs or Wekiva springs....

Seems I went to each of these springs years ago with a Scout Troop..

Great natural springs..........
