I don't watch it that much either but I like the cards and games the show is cool but on Cartoon Networn they had to replace Miguzi with Toonami now Toonami comes on once a week so I don't get to see it that much

You know, I think DBZ got a bit overplayed and that hurt it's graceful exit. GT is on at a weird time so it's tough to keep up with the show, especially at once a week.

Any show where "five minutes" take more than ten episodes to portray isn't worth my time. In case you're wondering what I'm talking about, watch the show right as Frieza blows Namek up.

That's just my opinion, though. DBZ Hyper Dimension was a really fun fighting game. Just sayin' that DBZ makes a better fighting game than animé.

Anyways, I use to be a fan of hte DBZ franchise, but i kinda grew out of it because of the redundant pattern that they always had...

DBGT is actually pretty decent, especially with the Super Saiyan 4 transformations. The only thing i didnt like was that Funimation just took parts from the first 3 or so episodes and made it one episode...

Thanks for reminding me about that time stretch theme. That really bugged me and it's a shame that there was indeed a lot of useless gabbing going on in the show. I don't know if all those speeches were made useless via the dub or if it was useless to start off at Japan.

It is kind of ironic that an action show could get so boring at times. The talking didn't make the action any more intense...why'd they do it in the first place?

That is actually why I preferred the manga. I checked it out to see if was any better than the show and it turns out it is! There is a deadline to how long the comics could be, so there is not a lot of freedom to just yak and power up and scream all day. The comic just cuts to the chase and is way better off.

Anyhoo, DBZ is good in small doses, let's say.

Someone actually edited DBZ to remove all of the useless screaming and powering up, it removed almost 2/3 of the series, and the series was still insanely longer than pretty much any other animé period.

I like DB/Z/GT. Even though I think they've been airing it too long on CN/Toonami.
My favorite characters: SS Vegeta, Trunks (future and kid), Pan and Androids #17 and #18.
