Baby Mewtwo...?

I was looking for Mewtwo pics when I stumbled upon these: http://membres.lycos.fr/saintemew/GMewtwo.htm

Near the bottom there are pics of a baby mewtwo and a child that seem to be from a movie or episode...anyone know where they're from?

Never mind, it is from a radio drama named "The Birth of Mewtwo" and the pictures I saw were from the CD artwork. Its a shame we didn't get a translation of this...

Actually we did. It's also an anime clip that's about 15 minutes long or so, it's on the DVD copies of Pokemon the First movie and the Mewtwo Returns special.

Actually, I believe the full version is only on the Mewtwo Returns DVD.

I can't afford a DVD player so I had to get the video so I never saw the mini movie with the baby Mewtwo so can someone tell me about the mini movie?

In the Mewtwo short, you basically just see Mewtwo as a baby with some other clones, including the scientist's daughter. Mewtwo is actually pretty cool in it, although the other clones die and whatnot. Mewtwo basically just talks to them all and gains some insight as to life, love, and why the toast always lands butter side down. Well, there's more to it than that, but my memory's bad.

I read it was actually originally in MSB, but the dub cut it out, only to add it to the DVD version.

Yep, the 'short' was originally in the Japanese version of the first movie; I own a Japanese VHS of it.

It's too bad that it was deleted, as it turns one's understanding of Mewtwo's psyche completely around...:(
