Will Toxic Gas be able to stop the Legendary birds's Poke-Powers? Toxic Gas does read that you ignore ALL other Poke-Powers/Bodies except itself, I wouldn't see the reasoning for the Legendary bird's Powers to be different than any others. Their Powers state that once you play that Pokemon from your hand you may attach as many energy to them from your other Pokemon, so therefore they are in play before they can use their powers.

Q. Does Muk's "Toxic Gas" prevent the "Legendary Ascent" Poke-POWER found on the legendary birds of FireRed/LeafGreen from happening?
A. No, "coming into play" powers like "Legendary Ascent" are not prevented by "Toxic Gas". (Sep 9, 2004 PUI Rules Team)
