as a tech
which would be better?
(theyre both kind of similar)
houndoom can do 120 to dialga G X (assuming theres no sp. metal) for 3 energy
and infernape can only do 100 for 3 energy
but houndoom needs to discard an energy
also infernape gets to hit 2 pokes for 20

Well 120 usually isn't enough to take out a dialga G X, so I'd say ape.

depends on what your playing. in a dark deck go with houndoom. in most cases go with houndoom because it adds less techs (no infernape X)

ape takes up more room (1-1 or 2-2) so i'd do the houndoom.

If you're looking for a tech play Houndoom. Ape is better suited for fully blown attack.

Houndoom G activates "weaknesses" with both attacks.
Houndoom G uses dark energy / infernape 4 uses fire. Which best fits the deck?
Infernape 4 has a solid LVX.

it up to wat energies best fit, but if it didnt matter id go ape x. i like tha fact that he can move actives, kinda beats up on stallers by making em send up stuff they arent ready to lose. or helping take that last prize.
