Good for setup - Most focused G decks don't have the room for him though.

I feel its a very under rated card and makes a very good "Rogue" SP deck

It can set itself up quickly and has a decent swarming attack. 8.5/10

Dial up your damage to 50, hit the Gengar for 100 w/ Lake Boundary, Crobat G for the KO, no Fainting Spell, have a nice day!

I see this becomming a staple for decks in the near future. SP is the new card and this set up will be a breeze

They totally should have named it Do The Wave.

The Free Retreat is what I like!! CFF then get to retreat for nada.. zilch.. zero! Bench setup is key with SP decks and I see the next set is just going to add that much more fun! I don't like the second attack's cost, but hey.. we have more cards to help that out!

7.5/10

Decent HP
Good Resistance
Free Retreat
Wrecks Gengar (with Poison Structure/Crobat G to avoid Fainting Spell)

A CFF for no Energy is a great first attack, setting up for all sorts of fancy G tricks on T2 (including letting you Power Spray your opponent on their first turn - no Uxie for you!)

Team Attack is expensive, but all the people who play Gengar make it worthwhile.

Only real downside is the x2 Fighting Weakness.

7.5/10

Another hyped card from PT before the set release, Weavile G is a decent all-around fit for the toolbox variants. 80 HP is great for a Basic, x2 Weakness to :fighting: is bad (Machamp), -20 Resistance to :psychic: is nice, and no Retreat Cost is always a plus. Call for Family (no Energy cost) will be your main initial reason for using Weavile G, nabbing 2 Basic SP Pokemon is always beneficial for the Galactic deck. Later on, Weavile G shifts into a decent attacker with Team Attack; though it looks overpriced at :dark::colorless:colorless, it goes down to a cheap :dark::colorless with Energy Gain attached, and will deal 10+ 10 more damage for each SP Pokemon you have in play, meaning you can deal a maximum of 70 damage.

Modified - 7.5/10 (Good choice for Galactic/SP decks, sorta reminds us of the old starter Pokemon of old)
Limited - 5/10 (Depends, if you get lots of SP Pokemon, run this en mass. Otherwise, don't bother using)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No real use, since SP decks ain't here anyways)

Intresting card but there are better options,

If Gengar is really popular a great card but seeing as most G decks might play 1-2 non SP pokemon its going to need a few Sp's on your field to be affective.

The problem is in decks like Lego's and Dialga there is no room. And there are lots of better techs out there. Its Weakness is Horrid but its Resistence is one of the best so they equal each other out. 80hp Is pretty decent as it will stop kingdras turn one. Decent Type but not too many pokemon weak to dark but there is Dusknoir and Gengar so it will help a ton.

Its two attacks are great for a basic and with Gain great. Its basicly a Pachi but overall I prefer Pachi.

So overall 7/10

I'm regularly amazed at how undrrated this card is. In the right build it's a monster. True it's not going to fit in every SP deck, but it's usually really good in a focused build. RR's SP Energy is going to make it even easier to use. I would be willing to bet that we see it included in more decks during BRs and Nationals than we did in States & Regionals.

A GREAT starter for the right deck. Any basic with free retreat cost & a good first turn "attack" deserves a hard look.

I see a bunch of people using this i states but never saw a deck lsit for it. Of what I have seen and encountered was a toxitank and a palkia dialga G decks and they didnt run this card. Personally I would love to include this into my Palkia dialga G deck jsut no room.

I've played it with TeCHs, it's an awesome card, can do even 90 damages with 2 energy loads, It's nice start and hit's well, Only down side is that it loses to Dialga, but there is always Houndoom G. Free retreat, good hp for a basic, 2 good attacks, but still not soo good. The card isn't good, but the deck is. 7/10 to card, 9.7/10 for a good deck based on it.

I love the card. Cheap beats, with the right number manipulation it decimates Gengar, if you go first you can easily set up T1 power spray even if you miss an attachment.
