Today's CotD is probably the single reason to use an SP deck: Team Galactic's Invention G-103 Power Spray (or just Power Spray for short) from the PT set. Its effect is simply amazing, despite only being able to be used 4 times in any given match; you circumvent the normal rules of the game by being able to block an opponent's use of a Poke-Power on their turn. Granted, you need at least 3 SP Pokemon in play to use this card, but for SP decks, this is obviously no problem. When timed right, this card is simply devastating against all other decks that rely on Poke-Powers.

Modified - 10/10 (One of the main, if not the main, reason to play SP Pokemon)
Limited - 3/10 (Not as useful since you'll likely not be seeing any Poke-Powers, and you need to have drafted at least 3 SP Pokemon with them on your bench to use this)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Fossil Muk does things a bit better [and lasts], and SP Pokemon aren't used here anyways)

With the other new Pokemon-SP being released in Rising Rivals next set from the Gym Leaders and such this card will still see alot of play and not just in G decks either.

It's like this card has changed the face of the meta to the point where POP/PUI is enforcing more Supporter Draw like Cynthia's and Looker's than Bench Sitter draw like with Claydol and Uxie. The new Volkner's Philosophy is evident that the meta might be going back to a Non-Claydol and/or Uxie format.

Getting 3 SP Pokemon out in an SP deck is not exactly hard, so it's easy enough to fulfil the condition for using the card.

The effect can change games if the opponent doesn't have a back up plan, which is why I always run Claydol in SP decks for when Uxie gets Power Sprayed, or just to burn Power Sprays if the opponent isn't careful with them.

There are so many broken Powers in the new set (Gallade 4, Luxray GL, Hippowdon LV X) that Power Spray will go from being a broken card to being a card which is needed to balance the game (like Windstorm was needed vs. Cess Crystal).

-1 for being SP only
-1 for being a bit too YGO

8/10

This card is 1 of the many signs of the game going downhill IMHO. And the stupid way it's worded doesn't make it okay. >.<

4/10 as it makes DIalga G decks even more Broken ATM.

I don't think that card is as awesome as everyone says. If I play even one uxie lv.x in my deck it works against power spray, because you can have only four power sprays in your deck. If your deck is like G.dusknoir or something that way, you are easily able to beat all G pokemons from your opponents bench with dusknoir dp or something else. Its still pretty good card, but if you have teched your deck to counter G it will be easy to evade.

I'll give it 8/10

Easily the most game-changing card printed in recent sets, bar none. If you run enough SP pokemon to be capable of activating Power Spray, you should be running Power Spray. Heck, if you run 4 Crobat G and no other SP pokemon, you should consider slipping another SP pokemon into the deck so that you can activate Power Spray. It is that good.

9/10 (would be a 10/10 if more decks could afford to fit in SPs.)

I take my turn, you take your turn. Not anymore. I attempt to take my turn and you interrupt it with a Power Spray.

This card redefines the game... it breaks the design of the game.

I pray this is one time card that goes away along with the ill-conceived precedent that it sets.

I don't want Pokemon to become Magic... I counter your spell, with my spell. Well, I counter your counter, with my counter... once your annoyed enough, you either embrace the madness or you stop playing.

If this escalates, Pokemon will no longer be about, Pokemon, but about annoying counter-actions.

Power: 8/10 (and it's power will increase with each set...)
Negative Impact on the Game: 5/10 (Sadly, the negative impact will also increase dramatically with each set...)

LOL the first trap card in pokemon

card is simply ridiculous, playing a g deck makes you think twice about playing uxies

card is a dime

Pure Pwnage in a 10 gram piece of cardboard. So long as PCL does not add to may "trap cards" this will actually improve the game by means of making it more strategic.:pokeball:

This card helped me win states. Guys, its really not THAT broken. Once we FINALLY get some decent draw supporters, its not going to be as good.

10/10

As soon as we get some good draw supporters >.> Volkner's is that glimpse I think we are looking for.

Now everyone admit it, this is the one reason you want to play an SP deck, cause I know it is for me.

The card is absolutely ridiculous, as it can change the game from actually winnable to out of reach, simply because you cannot use one power, it's good, but annoying to play against.

You can only play 4. After that it's open season. You have to play them at the right time to truely mess up your opponent. Therefore it's not that broken.

its not so great it can only be used if u have 3 sps on ur bench and with decks that play lots of pokepowers and only being able to use four kinda makes it pointless. or pokepowers that casn be repeated multiple times per turn like energy switcxhing pokemon sutch as swampert and guardavuar yeah my spelling sucks big whoop)
