1st post! hehe
Well this is the 3rd card associated with the broken SP trainer line. This card allows SP pokemon to attack for 1 C energy less, it's just that good

2nd!
One of the indispensable trainer cards for any SP deck. 10/10 if you are running SP pokemon, useless otherwise.

Alright, meaningless 5th post.
I think it's a horrible card because it's only useful in SP decks.

Random musing: why are all Team Galactic's Inventions released odd-numbered?

Does it accelerate SP Pokemon attacks? Check.
Can it be used on the same turn you've already attached your "once per turn energy"? Check.
Searchable by Cyrus's Conspiracy? Check.
Searchable by Honchcrow G? Check.
Is it a Trainer and not a Supporter? Check.
9.5/10 only to become more powerful as more SP Pokemon are added to the environment.
It can be countered by a few Pokemon...
ie, Mr. Mime... Duknoir SF1... sort of... Pachirisu GE...

10/10 Makes G decks ridiculous and essential to (most of) their success.

Without this card SP decks wouldnt exist yet because they would slow down oto much, A must to have in sp decks and will become more powerful when the next set hits. I expect to see this card played for a long time with no signs of decreasing untill PT phases out or we see that SP decks gfget hosed by a diffrent deck, possibly Flygon or something

Because they are all 2.0 versions! If I'm not mistaken, I think that the TGI's from the next set are even...

Today's CotD is Team Galactic's Invention G-101 Energy Gain (or simply Energy Gain), which is one of the most powerful Pokemon Tools available to SP Pokemon. Its effect is simple: when attached, you pay 1 less :colorless for your SP Pokemon's attacks. This grants almost any SP Pokemon an immediate advantage over their normal counterparts, as you are essentially attacking for either a half or a third less Energy than normal. This in turn speeds up your deck considerably, letting you usually get the jump on your opponent.
Modified - 10/10 (Another card that makes SP Pokemon viable, 4 of these belong in EVERY SP deck)
Limited - 5/10 (Largely depends on how many SP Pokemon you get, so it might not be as effective depending on what you get)
Unlimited - 2/10 (SP decks aren't used here, but if they were, this'd be a required card as well)

If this card were made specifically for SP decks, then yeah it would be a very good card. The bad thing about that card though is that once you lose that card, your going to have to attach another energy on your pokemon just because of the * cost. I wouldnt put more than 2 copies in a deck but it can be a good surprise factor card. If your opponent isnt aware of it.

Why would SP decks run a Muk?
And before anyone posts... yes, I know he meant "amok" I just thought it was funny.

Without Energy Gain, most SP cards and decks would be mediocre, as slow as any other 2-Energy or 3-Energy requirement deck. With it, Honchkrow/Crobat can be a vital aspect to a Galactic deck. It's broken, but I think the new set evens out the field.
