Event Pokemon
What decides where a Pokemon is to be released? TRU and Gamestop have had releases before, (TRU had Dragonite, and others-Gamestop had Deoxys) now Gamestop has Shiny Pichu.
I know a lot of Pokemon have been released at events, such as shiny Milotic at last years VGC- but I see that Japan has given away alot of Pokemon that we here never get. Are there plans to release more event Pokemon here in the US besides Legendarys?

I was able to get a 10th anniv. Celebi and Raiku when jaa stopped at Clacamas town center in Oregon. And some of the event Pokemon at TRU and Gamestop. I was never able to get any Pokemon from the NY Pokemon Center ( what exactly happend to that, anyways?), but I think that it would be nice of Nintendo to release some Pokemon that are not Legendarys or have a connection to an event.

we have the Weavile from the world championships in 2009, and the Lucario in 2008, and the Pikachu in 2007. And don't forget the level 50 dragonite from toys r us. Then you have the GBA event pokemon like Shiny Zigzagoon(s) and Pokemon rocks america metang. And then you hit the JAA top 20. Absol, blaziken, espeon, umbreon, typhlosion, dragonite, alakazam, pikachu, blastoise, charizard, and bulbasaur. And THEN you have the Pokemon center event pokemon. I am not going to list these as the list is WAY to long. |
