Mediocore card at best, Decent with Feraligatr prime but you'd need to attach more energys than it's worth with the worst weakness in the format. 5/10 In modified

3rd!!!
this can be used well with gatr prime, this could be used as a backup attacker or something in blastgatr. its attack is only useful if there is a gatr prime on your side unless you have a lot of water nrgies attached. 90 hp is ok for a stage 1, its pokebody can be helpful, its weakness is bad and its retreat is just average. so all in all, it can be a good combo with gatr prime otherwise, not very good. modified: 6/10 BTW, i love its artwork |

lighting weakness hurts. However, with the absence of luxray on the battlefield ( i know hes still played alot) and with floatzel gl and Gatr, he becomes very dangerous. One interviewers questions can load him up for an easy ko. 7/10, 9/10 future formats

Today's CotD is Golduck from TM, an ok sort of card. Statwise 90 HP is average for a Stage 1, x2 Weakness to
is horrible, no Resistance is common, and to Retreat is cheap. Natural Remedy is a useful enough Poke-Body, healing Golduck of 2 damage counters when you attach a Energy from your hand onto him. Powerful Splash is a bit misleading of a name, dealing a weak initial 30 for ![]() , but can grow in power as it deals 10 more for each Energy on all your Pokemon, making him an ok option for Gatr Prime decks (though it'll still take a lot of Energy to deal any significant damage).Modified - 5/10 (Well...there's really no reason to run him, but at the same time he's not that bad of a Pokemon, so eh) Limited - 9/10 (Self healing mechanic and an attack that grows in power? Draft him please) Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here, Powerful Splash won't end up doing much thanks to cards like ER and SER, and the Poke-Body is pointless is Golduck is liable to be one-shotted) |

its body would be good, the problem is... with HP like that, if you're getting damaged, you're getting OHKO'd. T_T

Actually it deals an initial 50.
I LOVE this card and run a Feraligatr/Golduck deck. The weakness to electrical does suck. But no one I know runs electric so I've had REALLY good luck with it. I've only lost a few times and the look on people's faces when I do 140-170 damage is well worth it. I run 4 interviewers questions and a lot of energy so if I get the right cards...it's fun. Definitely a fun deck to play with even with it's weakness. |

The PokeBody is good, it sort of makes up for its HP. The weakness is too major, though. It's Powerful Splash attack can start raking up the damage if prepared correctly. The art is great. In all, it's not bad, but it's certainly not amazing. 6/10
