Turbo Dark Steelix

What are some good cards to make a quick turbo dark steelix deck abusing boost, scramble, double rainbow and rockets energies??

Comments are welcome.

I thought Pideot would help....

Well Dark Steelix is good because of it's able to take advantage of both Dark and Metal, so types of rainbow energy won't help it (only with the one fighting energy cost). All I can think of is a DarkNite/Metagross deck, but that'll take ages to set up and it's suicide against a OHKOage Pokemon.

So atm I don't see anything good for Dark Steelix, but then again, not all decks have to be tier1.

EDIT: I don't think there can be a turbo Steelix deck that works.

maybe you can try a 3-2-3 dark draggy + 2-2 dark electrode + 2-2 dark steelix line... this would be so much pokemons... but dunno...

I feel a good use with Dark Steelix would be DX Metagross. TV Report the steel into the discard pile, use metagross + dark steelix's attack to move 2 steel onto it, or 1 steel 1 darkness, etc.

I'm just running a straight 3-3 Dk Steel line with random TecH backup, and it's 2-1 right now, losing only to Togetic...

Hi all,

The Dark Steelix variant should be runned with Dark Dragonite as it really helps to shift the Darkness energies around and Dark Electrode to get those precious resources out fast and furious! This is for a fast and quick beatdown. Of course one has the option to put in 4 Metal energies to reduce damage done to Dark Steelix by 10 each. Based on my personal experiences, running 3-4 Buffer Pieces helps a great deal. (Just FYI, take it or leave it as it is) and to counter those irritating Blaze Exs i suggest Ancient Tomb (plus also helps Dark Dragonite against Rayquaza) . To counter Togetics, i put in some Rocket's Sneasal Ex (they are really helpful when you least expect it). Ok, hoped that all helped. Good luck with e deck!

Which Set does Dark Steelix come in??? And Rainbow Energy doesnt cover Darkness or Metal huh? Then How else do I use my Aggron ex? Would I have to get Metal Energys in booster packs?

Rocket's Tricky Gym gets around Togetic.

Dark Steelix comes in EX: Team Rocket Returns.

Rainbow just doesn't provide the effect of the Energy.

I don't know how you use Aggron ex.

You can get metal in a theme deck or R/S booster.

Oh good, I was afraid I wouldnt be able to use Steelix in my fighting deck. I dont own any metal energies. And now that I think about it, Its sort of obvious that Rainbow would provideevery energy, I should have never doubted it. Thanks for the help.
