Unofficial Pokemon Nationals Afterparty

What's up everyone? My name is Evan from the Detroit-area Pokemon crew Team Warp Point. We're putting on an afterparty on Friday night at Nats after Swiss wraps up. Every year, everyone is always complaining about how there is nothing to do in Indy if you aren't 21, so we put together a rock show with 3 great Pokemon-playing bands. The party is just $3 and it's less than 2 miles from the Convention Center.

Here is the link to the Facebook Event Invitation, which has all the details: http://www.facebook.com/events/285601024858959/

You can check out all the bands that are playing by clicking these links:

Good Luck Varsity
Rival Summers
PK Fire

Hope to see you all there!

- Evan

Oh man, kinda torn. Party, or Prof Cup? I'll have to decide when we get closer to the day...

BTW, were you one of my players in the Mutant Draft last year?

I thought the Professor Cup was usually on Sunday? This is on Friday night.

And no, I didn't play in the Mutant Draft last year. I made T16 so I went back to the hotel to get some sleep haha.

They changed the Prof Cup this year. It's now being held in the evening after the Main Event finishes each day. Roughly half of the Cup will be played on each day. This is to ensure that the Staff has a chance to play.

For what it's worth from me:

These bands (and players) are phenomenal. It would be well worth your time to come enjoy some great music as well as meet and hang out with these guys. I go see them every chance I can get.

I will definitely be there if I can make it to Indy for Nats. Coolest thing is I have actual played against or seen some of these guys at tournaments. Keep it up I like the music.
