Legend Maker Cradily

I was wondering if anyone has found any decent combos with the new Cradily yet. Being able to shuffle evos back into the opponent's deck is awesome, but I was thinking of sticking it in with something that c an hit multiple pkmn at one time (ie: Dark Raticate's Poison Spread) but if there's something better that'd be great since Rocket is on the way out.

There are quite a few pokemon now that can spread damage around (Jynx, Gengar, Medicham, etc...) but it seems like there are better combos for those cards than Cradily. Jynx seems like it would fit the easiest, since it's easier to get out, but who knows. Personally, I really like the Cradily, but as you said, not sure what to play it with.

Exclamation Yea

yea I was considering Jynx too. I pretty much decided against Gengar because, like you said, there are better combos. I'm thinking of trying a Cradily/BanetteEX combo if I can get enough.

Personally the obvious choice seems to be Drk Ampharos in a rock lock style deck, you could just use Cradillys 2nd attack to spread damage rather than Jynx and everything. Or even Ninjask so they can't attack - Amphy seems the best though.

Is it though? Cradily shuffles the evolutions back into the deck, it doesn't just put them into the hand like ATM Rock does.

I've seen a combination between Cradily and Registeel ex EM played, which was rather interesting, but unless you're going to somehow tech Cradily into a Mercury style of deck (which I would highly not recommend), then it's a bit hard to see those cards working well together. I do think they had the right sort of idea though. Combine Cradily with a Pokémon that has a Spinning Tail like attack, preferably either basic or stage 1, and with a low retreat cost (or on which you can at least throw a Fluffy Berry or Holon Energy WP or something).

Problem there being it's a 2rd stage evo, and needs special energies.

think jynx is better.
1. maybe basic or syage
2. if stage 1, it is not affected by DRE.
3. 4 damage counter is pretty much to take out a basic.
4. It has no weakness! if it evolves.

Cradilly as a card is broken, but it's not playable. I've tried a Cradilly deck, and there comes a point where you just think "what now?" If you're playing against a deck with big basics in it, then you're screwed, as 50 a turn isn't enough to win.

Tangela

I haven't seen to much trouble from big basics because I have a couple of the Legend Maker Tangela's in my deck. Sure they are freakin' weak, but they can't be hit by basics when they use thier first attack, plus I can either Briney them or attach a React energy should they take too much damage. The only downside is only having 60HP. Anyone else besides me miss the old days where Basics that don't evolve always had 70HP...

see i like the card too and i've been testing the crap outta it but i find it lacking. it has nothing that can back it up well, and has 100hp and weak to fire which is gunna be a storm right now with K9( cough crap cough) which will still see play and typhlo. and even with an nrg root its still not gunna survive much. and the format is to fast right now for it.. i think we might just have to wait to see what future sets will release to help it

P.S this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

P.P.S. we could all just say that we should use it with huntail/Delcatty (Cough crap Cough)

i don't know but maybe Cradily/espeon ex/pidgeot/jirachi DX

or for players that want a deck that is really cheap.. try

roselia, pidgeot, cradily, wynaut and wobbefet.. ER2, react energy, switch, desert ruins

first poison the foe with roselia while pulling uip something vulnerable such as jirachi, have wobbefets out they can't retreat then send up cradily use the liner attack while healing every turn with react energy thanx to roselia. then devolve them when it's time.......... kinda like rock-lock and medicham put together poor mans style...
