SSBM challenges

Depending on what your confidence is I would like to announce a challenge! Lol...jk but yeah I have gone undefeated for about a year and a half now and I seriously need new people to play...Sigh oh well if you live near Crystal Lake we should make an appointment. No cocky people please cause the only thing you'll get out of me is a serious smack-down...I love destroying over confident air heads! Let's hear who plays who I'll start. I play the Ice Climbers and I have beaten one guy who is supposedly going to try for Mid west team! XD

mew you should battle Fox in the game. He shines your ice climbers and you just die since it sometimes splits you from nana and you can't come back

Fox is the best character in the game (the tier lists will cite Sheik, but Sheik is just an IC annoyance that can be played at a level that's so cheap that she's practically not a character anymore). Anyone that says fox isn't too menacing hasn't played enough people and/or has little to no idea what they're talking about.

As has been the norm on this forum for people to say they are good when, in fact, they have no idea what they're talking about (as pertaining to SSB:M), I advise you to google smashboards. If you still think you're good once ariving there, I'd be happy to take you on.

EDIT: I read ice climbers and instantly thought he's either a glitcher/IC spammer or he doesn't like to/doesn't know how to wavedash.

lol ok now first off you SOB I DID NOT CLAIM to be amazing. I simply said I was legit not a flipping legend. I would not speak so damn highly of yourself till you actaully play anyone. For Christ sake I mean seriously. And second Fox IS good but not the best character. Any character can be the best depending on the user. So stfu and stop talking big till the **** hits the fan.

Erm... I was expecting a tangible argument, and I would have given you more credit if it weren't for this line:

This is simply not true. Sorry. It's been proven that statistically given two players of maximum ability certain characters will come out on top. Seeing as I take it that you haven't taken my advice and visited smashboards, I'll do you a favour and post the teir list.

Whoa, what tier list are YOU using? Last I checked, the '06 Tier list dropped from a 7-tier to a 5-tier (FROM A 6-TIER) and there has been MUCH reorganization of the ranks. This is the Tier List as of 8-17-06. Unless you have Back Room access (which I do not), this is the msot up-to-date list. And, if this IS Back Room info, why are you leaking it on another board?

Also, tierings do not rank the "best character" of the game. It simply shows which characters are winning more tournaments and which characters act as counters for other characters. Nothing more, nothing less. So, a Mewtwo could, in theory, beat a Peach in a tournament, but because of Peach's attacks, counters, etc., the matchup swings heavily, but not entirely, in Peach's favor. Tierings also attempt to rank the ease at which a character has been acquired. I;m not a big believer in that theory, but there is a strong minority that does believe this.

But still, I never personally approved of this new tier list. In my mind, the out of date one that he listed was always the most accurate, but oh well.

I main as falco, and I dont think he should be top tier. meh.

pichu Pwns big time iof you use him correctly plus any character can be the best depending on the person practice their combos and you can win any battle I am exxcellent with mewtwo and Samus and too me thewy are teir 1.

Every year at my shool they have a fair and at the fair there is a massive SSBM tourney the top character for the places where

1st Link
2nd Samus (me)
3rd Sheik
4th Pichu
5th young Link

Only 1 of those where on the top teir for your list
There was some 50 people participating
A bottom teir made 4th and the guy was really good with him

If you know the combos and attack of your player well enough you can win almost any match
